i’ll try lol. i was thinking about it from a desirability/dating point of view. there’s seems to be a way bigger demand for cute transgirls than transboys. there are more men who are into transwomen than women who are into transmen. transmen’s dating pool seems small in comparison and they only really seem to date other trans people/pan sexual/etc.
it’s also a lot easier to become an attractive and passable transgirl than it is to be an attractive trans man. women are small in stature and feminine in the face so when one transitions she’s not gonna turn into a 6 foot hunk. on the other hand there are many short slim dudes who, after a few months of hormones, wigs, and makeup, can become a cute girl.

i was reading a reddit post ages ago about a transman’s experience and long story short their life basically became way harder as a man and said they had it easier when they were a woman. it made a lot of sense to me tbh. i can’t remember where i read it but i remember seeing some stats saying the number of de-transitioning transmen was higher than transwomen.

In what way is intersectionality a positive for feminism?

The outward stuff is signaling but I see the roles as important for how society is shaped. That is far from without meaning. Is society better or worse off from the promotion of, and adherence to, traditional gender roles? I don't mean playing dress-up.
