That is cheaper than hell. Those are about 1/3 the rates for me with excellent credit and no wrecks/tickets for me or the wife.

Assuming you mean 450 a piece its even worse if you pay that for both

I remember the good old days of cheap car insurance. Now I pay $300ish a month and it's gonna go up again when my other son turns 16 this summer. Teens on car insurance ain't no joke cuz.

Upon my quick research, you are not making sense. What was the convo you are answering and why should we call you meatloaf?

Oh, because I said I’d do anything for you geezers and then litlj said “Anything?” And then I called myself meatloaf because he would do anything for love, but he won’t do that...

I now see how retarded that all was.

Yeah, you're both pretty damn cheap for me. I just added my new truck and dropped the old one and it bumped my premium $300/year. I also have a 17 year old driver on my policy that costs just as much as both mine and my wifes together. My total premium (3 cars) is $6200. Almost 1/2 that is the teen driver.

That would be about the same as mine if I had a teenager with newer vehicles than I have. What is homeowner's insurance like in California? Back when I sold insurance I did a quote for both Washington and Oregon and was floored at how cheap their homeowners policies were. It was like $200 a year for 200k worth of coverage. Here it runs about $1k for every 100k worth of coverage you get unless you live in the lower third of the state where it's even more expensive and you have to get a separate policy for wind damage. We're talking like $6k a year total on a 150k house

My home insurance is $2200/year. I have no clue how they price it out. Coverage limits are: 300k Personal Liability, 530k Home Protector Plus (whatever the hell this is), and 402k Personal Property.

Washington and Oregon are pretty quiet states (weather wise) other than the non-stop rain.

That is much cheaper than that much coverage would be here. Home protector plus likely means that its a replacement value package where they won't depreciate anything when you file a claim.Alwaysget replacement value packages since you get more coverage for the money

I have a 'replacement' value on my policy and they wanted to give me the same crappy roof I have on the house now. Plus my deductible is 5% instead of the 1% so I'm buying a new & upgraded roof in a couple months (yay.. not). Only thing I'm focusing on during this adventure is being happy about is the 2 massive skylights I'm throwing into my ceiling over my dining room and formal sitting area.

We pay $2500/year for the Dually, nitro, outlander and the STI. We are in trouble when the boys start driving because the youngest is an adrenaline junky. He says the STI is too smooth... yikes.

Also, Vex, what kind of sauce? You can sauce me in anything but that nasty ketchup stuff. Just felt like I should make that clear. No one tell your wife.

Fuk y'all, sweetbaby's is the goat mass produced sauce. Stubbs is good too if you like a less sweet flavor. Moot point anyway since good texas bbq doesn't have sauce on it. I put it on my pizza, fries, etc.

I absolutely hate the smokey BBQ sauces like KC Masterpiece. Wet ribs are also disgusting, the only ribs I like are Memphis dry rub. I don't like Texas BBQ either, except for brisket which is fukn delicious. My favorite BBQ of all time is South Carolina pulled pork with the mustard based sauce and slaw on it. I could eat that every day

I like BBQ that is well prepared in general. Don't have a specific preference, other than I really don't like anything that tastes too tangy/buffalo sauce-like.
