Novak is clearly better than both of them because he's won more without the same support.

Novak is like McEnroe in that being a heel gives him power.

That's going back a long time but I don't remember him getting booed. More so the crowd going nuts for every point Agassi won. "Darth Federer" was 2007. Federer became more of a crowd favorite after Agassi retired. He seemed more human post 2003-2007 after Nadal was beating him.

Actually I do remember Nadal getting some rough treatment in the 2014 AO final when he came back from a long medical break and he seemed rattled. 3 weeks later he was winning on clay with no sign of the back injury — it served its purpose of taking the shine off Wawrinka's win (a healthy Nadal is undefeated) and was never mentioned again.

That whole situation was weird. I still believe he experienced a massive adrenaline dump which caused lower back cramping. Anyone who's been in a fight or flight situation will know what that feels like. For the last 6 years he'd only lost to Djokovic in a slam final and suddenly a guy who'd never taken a set off him in 12 matches had him on the ropes.

Nothing is guaranteed. Not every player is cut out to play into their 30s to challenge records. Just enjoy what he's doing right now.

6 months ago I was in the gym late watching Zverev hit him off the court in Oz. Since then he's won two slams. Anyone who can't appreciate his level of tennis surely can't be a fan of the sport.

As for Novak, he's still a Top 3 player at 37 and you can't write him off yet — he's missing the self belief that only comes from winning big matches and the cards haven't fallen his way this year. But let's face it, old farts beating younger players is not a good look for the game. Congrats to Carlito.

According to the logic from the fans of Fakesurgeryovic, age gaps don't matter in tennis, and the Wimbledon GOAT now goes Alcaraz > Fakesurgeryovic > Federer > Sampras because of "stats". Reap what you sow, morons 😂

Alcaraz is a generational talent. He's like a blend of Rafa's explosiveness and power and Feds technique and touch. Not sure who can challenge him going forward. Med and Zverev can challenge him on a good day in a HC which is funnily enough his worst surface, but they are a lot older. Sinner is probably the most likely rival going forward

Alcaraz, Sinner, and Medvedev seem like the next top 3 once Djokovic is officially done (at least until the next phenom arrives). Zverev is too much of a mental case to be a top champion, but he'll end up like Safin being an uber talent who wins a slam or two but never quite mentally puts it all together.

Sinner will get a decent amount on hardcourts but Carlos may own the RG/Wimbledon b2b for quite some time.

Congrats to tiebreakervic. Straight setted Alcaraz for Olympic gold at 37 years young.

I wanted to watch the match but every channel with hosting rights was streaming some other garbage.

I also wanted to bet on a Novak upset but no local betting site listed the match.

All class in victory and defeat.

What a mental titan to believe he could do this.

The undisputed greatest to ever do it.

Never forget they tried everything to stop this guy….even banning him from playing because he didn't want to take an experimental potion.

Always played against it, was never the fan favourite in the big matches.

Still beat everybody.

Still beat all the records.

GOAT.
There is but one path….we kill them all.
