The footprints. I dont own that one.

The jacket. 300m viewing range. 20hr battery life. LED indicating arms. ID tag can be scanned if I am found laying in a ditch.
Waterproof. 3 flash settings. Rear pocket. 2 others and an inside pocket.

Imagination needed as i am not going to get someone to record me indicating around a corner for your fapping pleasure.

You guys seen this?

I hate wearing a camelback while MTBing but a saddle bag doesn't work on a dropper post. This thing straps tightly to the saddle and leaves the post exposed. Maybe even acceptable alternative for roadies who don't like the loose saddle bag.

The above is OK but gear is exposed?

Personally, I don't mind a Camelbak/small backpack for cycling as long as its minimalist. The bigger ones can get cumbersome -- if the ride is long -- and hot next to your back in the warmer months. I used to carry a bigger one when I would commute to work, but the ride was > 30 minutes long.

As for the saddle bags, again minimalist is my preference. I have cinch adjustments if needed, although nothing really rattles around in there. I guess it really depends on your terrain?

If I was mtb all day I'd certainly need to carry some essentials. For road cycling in the city, that becomes a lot less necessary. I carry my tire repair kit in my water bottle storage (see previous photo).

On the high speed descents I could feel the gusts pushing me off my line a little...but they are WAY more stable than the Zipp Firecrest 303s that I used to ride.

yea that is ugly, and so are the toe clips and handle bars, and the front fork sucks too, but all of that can be changed out. as obsolete as it is, i still really like the frame.

Another blast from the past, aka "classic bike" replete with toe clips. If you're not one of the mechanically inclined you may want to run it by your LBS for a checkup.

Also, wouldn't put too much faith in the sidewall repair.

GT Pantera? Is it any good? I need a mountain bike and it seems pretty versatile. We have crazy trails in NW Arkansas. Local shop rents bikes so I might rent a couple see what I like. It's all Santa Cruz's and high end treks though so I'll probably end up not being happy with anything less than a Cruz lol.
