I jacked myself up again. I keep injuring the same spot in my upper trap and neck.
I'm just going to not go insane this week.
Saturday
Lat pull down 3x8 165
Hammer strength low row 3x8 plus 180
That's when it happened
Incline DB curl 3x8 35
Had to go ice.
Sunday
Barbell Squats 3x3 added 40lbs from last workout.
Rockit leg press 3x8 360
Glute bridges 3x10
Mountaineer supersets 3x25
Today re-aggravated the Trap issue
Incline bb 8,5,3. 190,195,205
Db incline 2x7 85
Balance ball push ups 3x10
Rope push downs 3x8 60
Went on 40minute walk with my son

Figured out part of my neck upper trap issue.
I'm still squatting old school by looking at the ceiling. As soon as I got thru my second set my neck and upper back was snapped up.

Back from Camp
I've lost 5+ lbs of fat and gained over 2lbs of muscle since 1/17/19 the numbers and pics can be found here
https://forum.obnoxiousbrutes.com/showt...6869131&page=1
Today I did a small pull day because I have to pull again Monday I also did explosive leg work.
Rockit lat pull down 3x6 245
Rockit mid row 3x6 265
Standing ez curl 3x6 90
Box jumps 3x4 30inches
Standing broad jumps 3x3
Big tire flips (first time ever doing tire flips) 3x3
Squat press 3x7 plus 270
RDL 3x6
1 leg hip raise plus 10 3x8 3 sec pause
Groin raise 1x12
Groin slides 1x4
Hip adductor 2x12
Cable crunches 3x12 195
2 Mountaineer supersets 20
I was really surprised how much I felt the tire flips in my lower abs.
I have to do more groin work. My Doctor said I am so strong and tight in my IT band it's what is causing my hip impingement.

Checking in, you're looking good and consistent.
I'm going to my alma mater tonight, they've said they'll test my body composition at no charge. I'm hoping it can be done tonight, but I'm going to get it done as soon as they let me.

Burned 1800 to 4000 calories today at work.
My phone had 1900 calories just from walking but that doesn't account for carrying furniture, unboxing, pushing, carrying trash.
One person's fitbit said he burned 4000 and he did the least because he is injured.
I ate like a king tonight and still way in deficit.

For fuks sake Leo. Those "calories burned" things are absolute trash at measuring the amount of calories you've actually burned. Are you adding those "burned" calories to your daily budget? If yes, then you've found your reason to why your fat loss isn't going as well as you've hoped.

If I on a regular day eat 1600 calories on my cut but 2600 on a work day like that I should be fine.
We walked 30 miles in two days and I've got DOMS everywhere.

On a day like Tuesday where we walk close to 40,000 steps and carry sets of 35lb chairs 50yds at a time along with carrying mattresses?
Yes I am going to add calories to 1600 on those days but not go wild.

This is my offseason. We only have sporadic work.
This was the first medium sized job for 2019.
From October to May we might work only 2 to 5 days a month max some months zero.
So when I said on this cut I'm eating 1800 then 1600 it's what I'm doing.
Now in summer it's 5 to 7 days a week of that kind of work. We make 90% of the money June to September.

As far as calories worked, you do have to be careful with that but if you're still losing weight you're doing it right. Just get feedback, feedback, feedback and adjust quickly if you need to.
My BIL is an ultra-marathoner and he's the only person I know who can literally eat what he wants, but when you're running tens of miles/day and training for 100-150 mile races, I guess you finally made it, haha.

I did a pull day Saturday but Sunday was a very rough day.
I had to help clean out my late Aunt's house. Outside of moving boxes and furniture I didn't go to the gym. The finality of everything hit me. That house has been in the family since 1954. My Grandfather bought it new and she bought it from him.
I spent so much time in that house and because she was a semi hoarder I stumbled across some of my toys from my childhood. And all the other things.
Monday I worked and got in a small leg day with a push day along with 18k steps.
Today I drove to Cincinnati for work.
I got in some db rows curls and hammer curls along with an hour walk on the treadmill. It's a very limited gym.
Tomorrow we have 1 53ft truck but that's enough for only 3 guys then I will drive home to Raleigh.
