"understand how power, privilege and sexism work both by conferring benefits to men and by trapping them in narrow roles"
Understand "how"...understand how power, privilege and sexism work both by conferring benefits to men and by trapping them in narrow roles
Not "assume that" it does.
While most of these are discussed in the text, I don't think the guideline is meant to be a short-course in clinical psychology.
Do you also take issue with their guidelines for working with women and girls?

While the pandemic introduced many people to journals and scientific institutions, these topics, guidelines, and processes are far from new.

They are guidelines for practicing clinicians. That's why they offer CEU's for registered professionals.
People sure find odd stuff to take issue with these days.

What are dominant masculine ideals?
What type of biases should they be aware of?
What is the integrated nature of masculinity?
Why must they just assume(“recognize”) that power, privilege, and sexism always give power to men? Women have lots of benefits over men in society and are much safer statistically speaking.
So again, it’s just a bunch of word salad designed to make practitioners view the world through a certain lens and then push that specific ideology outward through their practice.
Which I’m certain you already understood since you seem to have an IQ above a potato.

This isn’t what (good) doctors signed up for. It’s almost as unethical as you can get (outside of purposely killing a patient).
What’s worse is the number of doctors that are blindly abiding and killing patients. If **** hits the fan, do they honestly think hospital administration is going to go to bat for them? LOL. They have their $$$$. They’ll just hire another doctor fresh out of residency, while you end up blacklisted and penniless.
“I was just following orders”. Yeah, good luck with that.

It is in no way fear mongering to say that vaccine passports and vaccine mandates are unjustified government over reach. It is in no way fear mongering to point out that the normal trial and approval process for a vaccine is 10 years. It is in no way fear mongering to point out that international law is broken when an individual is coerced to submit to a medical procedure, especially without informed consent.

I initially supported the *first* two week lockdown and supported masks as *possibly helpful* and a minor inconvenience for a long time.
I might get stuff wrong. It happens. But I am capable of considering new information; even information that runs counter to my own preconceptions.

Malone offered zero references or citations. "Give me some action on my substack" isn't really a reference. It is in no way fear mongering to say that vaccine passports and vaccine mandates are unjustified government over reach.
I haven't said anything about mandates. But, I think vaccine mandates are a terrible policy that will do more harm than good. I've been consistent in that view.
It is in no way fear mongering to point out that the normal trial and approval process for a vaccine is 10 years.
The current vaccines align with the same timeline. I thought one of the main points here is that Malone invented this stuff in the late '80's? Isn't that ~30 years ago?Trials have not taken, and do not take, 10 years to complete.
As I said previously, a lot of people became interested in scientific publications and clinical trials over the course of the pandemic. But these systems and processes are far from new.

I didn't say anything about mandates. I was informed prior to consent.Really rustles you when you get called out for your games, huh?
Still waiting for something that actually addresses an argument rather than name calling.Who has endorsed blindly trusting Pharma? Malone had/has? a small research focused company that was trying to explore existing generic medications to treat zika. Absolutely nothing to do with this interview.
His whole career has been in, or adjacent to, pharma. That's why he's mad.Um, yes, confirmation bias. Normal thing.

It's pretty common for individuals' to become distrustful of science and medicine after a negative personal experience.I initially supported the *first* two week lockdown and supported masks as *possibly helpful* and a minor inconvenience for a long time.

I will give you an example when you blatantly lied.
You accused me of making death threats and provided quotes without said threats as proof. You went radio silent after you understood how dumb it was.
Also, fist yourself.
