Just invest in a good alt if all youre worried about is fomo.

Some are guaranteed money (they have way different applications than btc)

Potentially way bigger gains too

Honestly, you're right. I used to support ETH quite a bit, the "$400 in 2020" was a hyperbolic statement but I don't think it's going to go to the moon. I don't like it's roadmap and Ihatethe concept of ICO tokens. I think ICO tokens are a complete failure for certain applications (such as generating an internal company token) - we already have such a token which is universal, and it's called fiat. I think they're trying to solve a problem that isn't there.

I don't think there's anything wrong with funding a startup with having tokens that benefit the investor. But we're seeing a slowdown because nobody has really delivered. What will trigger an eruption is the wave of alts who are one step away from productivity instead of crowdfunding a hair brained idea.

Look man, I don't want to argue you with you. I don't mean ETH will be $400 in 2020 literally it was a hyperbolic statement. I just don't think it will do as well as I thought it would before, and I think ICO tokens are a flawed concept and solve a problem which isn't there.

What exactly do you not like about the roadmap? Honestly curious.
Hate ICOs why? It's basically kickstarter for crypto. I don't have to be an elite VC to be able to take part in the beginnings of a potentially revolutionary company. Sure many people have been burnt, and probably a lot will fail but I believe that some of these companies will revolutionize industries.

Define Internal Company Token... I don't even... Are you talking about tokens solely for fundraising purposes that will not interact with eth ?

Smart contract platforms are one of the most exciting parts of this space. Be it ETH, NEO, EOS, or ADA.
