Never have I been able to commit to the wage slave lifestyle, though it feels good knowing you've earned that paycheck at the end of the month. The longest I made it at a job was 3 months, before I got fired for stealing.

My most recent was two weeks at Starbucks before I quit.

I am in agreement with the points made as to why having a 9 to 5 job isn't really freedom (though you can learn to actually enjoy it. In that sense, I do have some regrets for not being able to keep it up) but those making the points fail to explain how one can make a living and have the money to do those nice things their free time allows them to.

I wish I knew an answer.

then i got a huge break 9 months after going head first into it made about 20k in 2 months and it mattered by luck, hard work, and a little law of attraction which i believe.

BUT if it wasn't for the chance of getting fired, and having some time, while getting some kind of welfare to start a business i wouldn't have been as comfortable as i am currently.

all it takes is making 1 dollar online to open your eyes to the potential to make more, because everything in online business is scalable, it's just about finding out what works and what doesn't.

successful affiliate marketing doesn't really require much time investment after the initial setup.
lets just say you want to buy a new phone, so you look online and find a website that has lists of phones in your budget range and pro's and cons of each.
then just affiliate links for each phone.

new phone comes out? add it to the list. easy

this is just an example, but it's not like theyre spending 5 hours a day trying to market a product.

It's a government enterprise business, it's owned by the taxpayers and it's taxpayer money.

BRB making $80 per sale from someone elses stuff
BRB once sale is made there is no CS to deal with, no dramas, no problems.
BRB getting paid net7 (every 7 days) vs being paid a month in arreas (ie first payment 60-90 days, then every 30 days)
BRB no product development, no import/export headaches
BRB building an email list for product X so if I do launch my own competitor product in the future, I already have all of my competitiors customers on the end of an email.
