Not sure why you guys were buying alts during this period , way too risky. And just like last time money will leave alts and flow into Bitcoin as people expect free money due to fork.

At the speed it's moving, $7k seems very likely. I just wonder if it will break at 6k and drop down to like $5.6 and then go back up, or just blow straight through with no breaks.

I didn't think it would be that predictable. I didn't throw too much at WTC anyway.

My mitigation plan worked out though, didn't sell any alts but bought enough BTC to keep me breaking even.

I predict there will be a huge correction 15-20% for BTC before 7k... before it starts to rally again towards 7k. But this time the BTC rally after the correction will be a bit more steady upwards and will bring ALTS and other major coins ETH, LTC, etc up with it.

Especially Eth, didn't move during the rise, I bet it will crash alongside BTC.

Anyone else's Bittrex account suddenly disabled? I'm unable to buy and sell, yet the BTC is in my wallet and I can see my balance. I was using it a few hours ago, came home to make a move, and it's disabled.

I've done nothing out of the ordinary and solely bought and traded on Bittrex, no funny stuff. This reminds me of some Coinbase BS at a time of high volume........

I feel like a chump for standing pat in my alts knowing at some point BTC would pump leading up to the fork, I just didn't think it would be this early. Thankfully being 25% BTC has held my USD value pretty flat but my BTC equivalent is bleeding from the jugular. Minimal actual loss but huge missed opportunity compared to being all BTC

I did the math because I'm a sick fck and with two perfectly timed orders between last week and now I could've 3x my amount of WTC

BTC dominance is too fukin high man. a 1% increase in market cap in bitcoin can eat up the market caps of dozens of coins. fukin stupid.

Lol at doing the math, you absolute masochist.

I do it too sometimes. The amount of times I've kicked myself for removing my ridiculously low buy order from the Eth GDAX order book shortly before that famous crash.

That's my thought too. WTC dropped on the BTC run to $5.5k then recovered a little. Then WTC dropped on BTC run to $5.9k and now is recovering a little. It's got more room to fall. As do all alts obviously, just WTC seems the most volatile out of the ones on Binance.

Crypto market cap way up, but all pouring to Bitcoin on top of alts going into Bitcoin.

I saw a detailed A-Z tutorial online with instructions on how to "take advantage of the fork and get free gold". I kid you not, I'll find it later.

Probably good for us in the long run with more money in he market.

I've also been watching ETP. Not only did GOAT pick it as a possible next 8x coin, and now so did some youtuber with a following. It was $3.60 earlier today and now down to $2.80. I might jump back into that one as well and actually hold this time around instead of bailing for small gains.

Today China only contributed 1.5% of the BTC volume.
