Where's the *******s doubting me when I said it would bounce off the 9300-9500 resistance and go into a downtrend. Listen to this brah next time along with crownbrah

The tether ‘fud’ has been present for over a year and the most recent reporting is literally months old just rehashed as a way to explain to the public why btc is downtrending. A news story can be spun both ways as price action works its way. Sure there’s a few instances where news actually is a driving force but in general it’s just food for the retail investors.
As an aside I see a lot of tether fud going on here.. I ****ing hate the word fud btw, but this tether situation is typically parroted by people who heardvit from another unverified source. If you’ve done the research on why it’s a concern then I’m happy to hear but from the research I’ve done and from the most educated people I know in this space, it is a non issue from what I understand

As the market caps get bigger and bigger the amount of tether required to reverse the downtrend gets bigger and more obvious.
You don't see how that is a huge problem for the market? You don't see how fake demand could create real demand?
And....because you can't trade usdt for usd that 2b of tether is essentially 2b of willing buyers, (tether is a pitstop, not like cashing out) it would be like losing 2b of buying pressure on the market.
No fud. My take.

4-6K short term drops are not implausible for BTC.
I like it. I think $4-6K BTC is sustainable with $400-600 ETH as a sidekick for a while. It'll stop P&D's, BTC hysteria like Big Bang Theory episodes coming out and sh*t.
Bonus: McAfee eats his own dick because BTC isn't worth $1 million by 2019.

Edit - more importantly, if what you said is true they’d be doing it in the most obvious way possible - on an immutable Blockchain for every one to see for history. Not only that but the subpoena was issued two months ago. Since that they have obviously printed more tether which would just be suicide from a legal standpoint. And on top of all this if printing tether makes the price go up then WHY has btc been in a downtrend for a month and a half despite the fact tether has been printed as much as ever in the same timeframe

Add in the exponential printing in January, the "dissolving" of the financial audit, the subpoena, it all smells very fishy. In my opinion it's blatently obvious what happened.
Could they be telling the truth? Sure. But why the lack of transparency? A successful audit would start a new rally. Whats the hold up?
As for the bearish market in spite of the tether printing? Bigger mcap needs more capital/tether.
Again, I'm just trying to share an opinion.
As for the why? Greed or pressure from external forces. There are some unsavory groups in this space.

And not to hate on TA, I think it's very useful, but IMO we really need to get away from people thinking TA can predict the future 100% of the time. Your average investor would get along just fine with solid FA and simply paying attention to support and resistance lines and volume. I mean just two days ago almost all TA was calling ETH a sure bull and great purchase at 11k$+ and then it tanks, just LoL. Again, I am really not chitting on TA, I get the utility, especially for day and swing traders, but for TA to be effective you have to be on it, one candle hits, one line breaks, and everything changes. Your average investor is much better off just DCAing in during dips and crashes. More people trying to time the market will miss than hit, that's just the history of all investing and probably even more true in crypto with the huge volatility.
To your point, BTC may very well not not break 10k on this test, but that doesn't mean it heads back to 7.5 for sure, and if it does break 10k everyone who just DCA'd the dip is in great shape, hell, even the more brave guys who just guessed 8k to be the bottom and went all in there are in great shape.
