Negged for wanting to watch people die.

They moved the media away so they won’t be videoing dead children being carried out, and they’re going to film with GoPro? Doubtful.

If you want to watch something die, x-ray your brain cell.

It will doubtless go soon...

The navy seal looked like a weirdo exaggerator and was wrong. Most likely they will make it.

Today recently much of the water area levels lowered and became walkable

He wasn’t wrong, the totally unexpected seems to have happened. Don’t forget an expert diver died trying to do this just a few days ago.

Hopefully. If it works out those are some of the luckiest kids in the history of the world.

Don’t forget we’re hearing this from the orovincial governor, who won’t say if or how far the kids still have to dive or swim.

- tank soldier call out smithshreds for asking for cliffs on a multi-complex world event
- smithshreds replies by making tanksoldier look like an idiot, asking him why he is so bothered as to why someone would ask a objectively reasonable question
- tanksoldier does not know how to reply and therefor calls his opponent 'stupid' as does not have the intellect to construct any formidable argument

“Stupid” is shorter than “ugly inbred dog”... and I’m in a hurry.

I spent some time in Thailand, and know that I am 100% (srs) when I say this... Many of the people I talked to thought the king (who died while I was there) could control the weather. I was told by more people than I can remember that the king controls when it rains, and so they're thankful to him that their farmers have bountiful harvests.

Hope and think they'll make it. I remember how good it felt when the Chilean bros made it out, and I'm way more invested in this story than that one. They've come too far to not make it. RIP Navy Seal brah. Seems like conditions have improved, and they seemed more optimistic today. I read they've been practicing all day for 3 days now. They are strong kids and the divers are true heroes. Hoping for good news when I wake up. Said first boys could come out around 7am pacific.

I hope they make it. I _hope_ conditions really are good and the diving will be minimal... but we don't really know.

Imagine how overwhelming this is for the parents. There's heavy rain there right now, so it's a race before it gets worse.

Feel for the coach, sounds like they were genuinely unlucky in getting caught out with the weather when they did.

Holy chit ^^^

Initial test difficulty level: expert

The map says that's the tightest squeeze though. If they can get through there it won't be smooth sailing, but there should be hope.

That would scare me to death having to squeeze through stuff like that even if it's bone dry and I had light. I can't imagine what they're going through.

It would be interesting to know how the escape plan is being pitched to these kids in terms of the degree of difficulty - you would assume they would remember the choke points when they entered the cave.
