UPDATE: Was able to log in no problem through a Japanese VPN and my ETH was there!! I think I couldn't see it this morning because the server was so poor that my balance wouldn't refresh. That's a huge relief just to see my funds, now to try buying some coins.

Currently sitting on the blue wheel trying to buy 1000 coins. To me it says the first round isn't sold out but like people have said it's probably delayed

Bitcoin is going parabolic (I said it would hit 10k mid Jan in Aug.... I still see that happening)
And thats the reason for the alts dropping. There is an influx of "new money" into Bitcoin, partially because of the fork, mainly because their are BIG institutional investors that are taking positions.
Since the announcement that BTC futures will be traded many people have taken that as a sign that reads "Bitcoin is real!" -Love Wallstreet
This is a double edged sword.
We are going to see 10k BTC within 90 days. I also foresee 50k by years end 2018. You can't underestimate what the news of BTC futures means to the entire market. I know for a fact that there will be some billion, dollar buys of BTC in the next 6 months.
Some of this will come from hedge funds some banks.
Also China WILL be back in the mix in late Feb. They are currently in a political space that is slowing the prices down, however ICO and more importantly, exchange regulation and legislation is on the table and going through the steps for inclusion/ adoption.
This all equates to FUD on BTC. Please stop worrying. The longer you have been in this game the less we worry.
Bitcoins, alts, even stocks go through cycles. Put 50% of your money into Bitcoin and find some good long term Alts and then sit on your hands.
Alts like ARK, OMG, WAVES, NEO, WTC.... They have great teams, provide a solid roadmap and have real world applications that will fundamentally change things within the ecosystem.
This is the time to rejoice! It's time to buy at 10,20,60% off your favorite alt!
Stop stressing out, and for Gods sake dont sell alts low to buy Bitcoin at ATH.
Repeat after me.

I feel like there's something wrong with my page on ethconnect because whenever I sign in it always says 8 mill coins available and 0 coins sold but you guys are reading that coins have been sold. I know they've been sold but the dashboard doesn't tell me so.

Regarding an Alt crash I'm skeptical. It's the natural pattern of crypto. Newbs buy btc. The more they learn the more appealing alts become because they realize BTC isn't the future of blockchain. Crypto needs new ideas and designs. Sooner or later they'll dabble in alts as well. Especially day trading wall street.

Solid alts will have to eventually be the norm in many instances to. If you guys believe in blockchain is the future it's only a matter of time when these companies have products and services thus increasing their marketcapts 10fold. The hardest part is finding companies that will be here in the long term and if it's anything similar to the internet bubble most won't be around.

people will put back into alts and all of the new people that just got in at this ridiculous growth are going to panic sell even if they bought btc completely believing in it

Agreed. I don't believe in the BTC futures ****.

1 - It's not at all guaranteed it passes government review.
2 - pretty sure institutions already own tons of bitcoin. All insiders would have bought long before the futures announcement. This is the hype they're gonna dump on. Even if you don't believe that, institutions wouldn't buy high. They will edge their way in, and then they will kill the volatility of bitcoin with pro trading skill and bots.

The only new money entering bitcoin is your mom at the bitcoin atm cause her work-from-home ******** group is hyping it up.

Keeps changing for me. When I see 8 mil in supply it says sold out when i try to buy, then when the btc / eth live rates show up i am able to put an order but wheel keeps spinning and nothing happens
