You can't have your 2 main guys as pure offensive with zero defense

Luka scored 2 points in the 4th, turned the ball over and committed FOUR fouls because he cannot defend

Luka might legit be the worst superstar defender I’ve ever seen in my life. He’s a detriment to his team on the floor.. he’s getting blown by on every possession and every Celtic on the floor is just taking turns abuse him

He’s worse than Harden. At least Harden tried in the playoffs and was a good post defender

The FMVP belongs to Jaylon Brown tho and I’m happy for him.. it’s crazy if Tatum didn’t chit the bed vs the Warriors then Brown would be a 2 time FMVP

Yeah it's insane how much of a liability he is. And he's absolutely disappearing in the 4th Q because he's so gassed

I don't know that the FMVP is a lock for Brown tho. I can see Dallas winning one on Friday and it going to 5 so Tatum has two more opportunities to put up big numbers and if KP is out he will. Every aspect of Tatum's game this series that hasn't been shooting has been spectacular

Nah it’s def a lock for Brown, tonight was Tatum best game and he still got outplayed by Brown who hit the clutch shot to end the game. Tatum has been horrific shooting the ball, there isn’t a way for him to get FMVP after the way Brown has played unless he chits the bed. Tatum could go for 50 next game and I don’t think it’d matter

Luka is def injured and carrying heavy load on the offensive end, but if you’re gonna be considered “best player in the world “ type of talk you can’t play defense like that

Yeah that’s what all the Dallas copers are saying. In reality they are very lucky that Minnesota somehow beat Denver before turning into a pumpkin in the WCF

They DO NOT look like a finals team

Windhorst went off on Luka about him not being a winner and complained too much to the refs and yelled "you better f**king challenge that foul" to the bench. This guy is amazing talented but whines too much and a liability on defense that Celtics are targetting him. Mavs offense has no flow-Kyrie and Luka hold the ball too long.
Brown is FMVP and Celtics would've won had they played through him vs gsw.

I liked Luka until the boy won't stop whining every single play to the point it hurts your team instead of running back you sit on the floor whining. Come on man, you know at this point they are not calling everything so you need to man up and play on. Also you gotta be a 2 way player but he is so heavy and flat footed on defense it's clear to attack him.

Cheered for Dallas but from game 1 I had no hope to beat this celtics team they are too deep and they have good defenders. Brown is MVP

Noooooooo Mavericks whyyyy

I hope Brown wins FMVP I always thought he was more impactful than Tatum

Crazy that Mavs lost even without Porzingingy

Luka needs to lose weight if he was leaner he'd cook more srs

My prediction

Dallas wins tonight, Luka goes off for 40+ and gets 10+ FT attempts thanks to Scott Foster

Tatum has a monster game while brown has a subpar game

Sets up another big Tatum game and a win in game 5 in Boston for a gentleman’s sweep and Tatum barely getting the FMVP over Brown

Dallas will not make it back to the Finals with this current squad

Tatum hasn't even been as valuable as Jrue this series. If he wins FMVP playing like this its purely off of reputation. His playmaking has been pretty good but his shooting and defense has been mediocre. Brown has been playing great, Jrue has been excellent while KP and Derrick White have had as much if not more impact than Tatum. I actually like Tatum so I'm not just being a hater

18 World Championships. It's great to be a Celtics Fan! Since 1975. Tonight at a Dallas arena near you. Defense has been spectacular. Too much depth. Too much defense.

His playmaking has been beyond good it’s been the best of the series. He’s leading in assists and the box score doesn’t reflect how many open looks he gave his teammates that simply just didn’t go in. He’s the entire focal point of Dallas defense and when he drives he gets to the rim or he gets someone open almost every time

He’s also been stellar on defense. Guarding the 5 has completely taken away the lob. Dallas had by far the most lobs in history this year and they’ve had what, one all series? That’s Tatum

No offense but if that’s your analysis you haven’t been watching the games or you just don’t understand what he’s doing on defense

as a Celtics fan the best part of getting banner 18 is them reclaiming the uncontested leader in championships. laker fans been wildin out talkin about how they're the real leaders since they won the fake play-in tournament this year. a win here settles the beef.
