I am in a similar situ. I am 43, unemployed, single, live alone. I get up whenever I want and just do hobbies during day. I got bed 1am ish and repeat, repeat, repeat.

Its not alpha, or beta, or gamma. It is just a way of life.

I feel okay. I prefer not working and being a free agent as supposed to working at some boring 38 hour per week job which I have zero passion for and where the people are often assholes and I like maybe 1 in 10 people. It's just that I have no income and will need income fairly soon.

I was offered several jobs last year, but just jumped out at the last minute as I prefer not having to go to work for most of the day.

Looking back, late 2024 was my best period in years. The novelty of just fucking chilling hard until early hours and getting up whenever I want was great. It was like a permanent weekend haha.
