woke up to 25 degrees today d... my plants are fooked bigly

just heard some dumb ass weatherman say that there are like 2 more waves of cold air coming this week.... dont think FL is participating in these tho

It will (usually) always freeze at the pump head. Why didn't you just take a propane torch and hold it a few inches away from it for a few minutes? a little heater won't do shit if it's outside like mine. Usually happens at a 90 right where it comes up out of ground and hooks to pipe going to house. I make sure to cover the well box with snow now for extra insulation. Hasn't happened in years

Hank Hill was slacking and I was out of propane

I covered my pump head with a 55 gal yard trash can with a heater in it .... worked like a champ

its a new well too, my spring plans is making a building to cover my well and pool equip.... it always a hassle covering everything for storms / cold

yeah I one one toilet with some floaters marinating until I could flush other than that I have stocks of water to use
