Yesterday I came home, slammed the door like a mother fucker, like extremely fookin loud, and my wife was in the sofa, didn't budge a millimeter. I was like holy shit is she dead? Could feel that nasty feeling of thinking she appears to be although it doesn't make sense. I was staring her down waiting to see breathing. Nothing

Really freaked me the fuck out. Then I went real close to feel her breath and it turned out she was alive. But one day one of us is going to find the other one dead and cold.

Think about that.

Whenever it happens I hope it’s quick and chaotic.

Death is not non-existence but a metamorphosis to a new state of being.

I don't worry, atm, since you can't do anything about it anyways. But may feel differently when get closer.

If I die, I die is the general sentiment I carry these days. Just trying to make the most of my time alive, and have a fulfilling life. srs.
The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Death is metamorphosis. The caterpillar entombs itself, and dies, and transforms into a beautiful butterfly. It doesn't form a cocoon, liquify itself, and then cease to exist.

Same with a seed. Unless you bury it in the dirt, it won't die and become a beautiful tree.

Anyone ITT who is afraid of death, is really just scared of the unknown or of the false understanding of what death is.

I welcome it. I'm disabled. Can't walk without a walker. I pretty much only leave the house for doctor appointments. I can't live alone. I can't drive. My dating life is over.

I look forward to when your clinically dead. Your brain stays alive for 7 minutes. As you approach death your brain dumps it's DMT. Letting you live in YOUR heaven for a while. A 15-minute DMT trip feels like 1000 years. A chance to be happy.
