Here is the thing. Does anyone think it will stop the scammers? Of course not, they will find a work around faster than they can implement this, but what it will cost regular people in time, money, and energy will be there for someone to profit off of. I think the real goal is for government control but I also think it's so they can even better sell your data. Bet this, everything you say and do online can and will be used against you. No doubt, the criminals are going to find a way to do things off the grid, and the state won't care, they will be too busy making sure you didn't pay too little in taxes.
