My dad used to beat my mom. I remember vividly from childhood how she would have madness in her eyes shouting at him BEAT ME BEAT ME BEAT ME until the motherfucker snapped, after that she would be riding high in full control by means of guilt

Same. My dad would beat my mom, until I beat the fuck out of my dad when I grew up, and almost killed him. I grabbed a knife and made sure to make him suffer, for all the years he made my mom suffer.
