Pretty dismal way to look at things. Nothing you said is remotely true.

Fair enough, but worrying about the Epstein files over closing the borders, beating the shit out of democrats through economic performance in the past year and last night in addition to exposing welfare fraud in the billions, goes right over some people's heads. Different priorities.

Yeah, making sure we hold billionaire pedophiles to account isn't a priority I guess

Trump killed it with the SOTU. And dems did everything they could to make themselves look as bad as possible.

A speech can't really do much to change things no matter how good it is but this was as much of a W for Trump as you could get from a SOTU

I didn't say that was not a priority. It is. I am disappointed, but I am holding out that there will be justice in due course.

Getting the house in order is first, IMO and Trump has accomplished a lot in only one year.

100%. It showed Trump calling out his foes directly and their reactions were solid gold. Omar and the Somali pirates, Pelosi and insider trading, all democrats for not standing and for not supporting that the protection of citizens as the #1 priority and not the illegal immigrants. When he said, "These guys are crazy," it was game over.

That won over more Independents last night. Who would want to be like a democrat, much less support a democrat politician?

He pulled off the 'statesman' aura while doing it too, it was really amazing. When all those dems sat there while he asked them to show if they agree that citizens > illegals and then looked at them like a disappointed father it was 10/10.

It might still be too late but if he can start pushing policy that matches what he presented it could turn things around. I think he will go back to being led by the nose by lindsay and susie but I hope I am wrong.

I do agree. Most people haven't experienced their tax returns, yet. All of them should be positive vs last year. They have tangible proof. Other tangible proof is Minnesota and California and blue State fraud for the Indies.

Iran is a gamble. If we can eliminate the Ayatollah, what happens next? It can't go into another kook's hands. The Republican Guard will have to support a new government or be annihilated.

Democrats even stated they are more for the illegal immigrants than they are US citizens.

They literally believe that illegals should get the treatment veterans should get.

I admittedly didn’t watch it, but if that’s what he did, it’s nothing we haven’t heard him say literally hundreds of times before. I don’t see it moving the needle.

Iran has a huge downside and no upside. Seriously. Remove the ayatollah and then what? It turns into a western democracy like magic? They're already preparing to replace him if he is killed. The only way Trump comes out ahead is to come to some kind of diplomatic resolution and then walk away but the israelis would never forgive him if he did that, and I don't know if he has the balls to burn that bridge. It sucks

It won't. That's just GOP cope. It's just that people like Mark are so used to hearing the lies over and over again they start to actually believe them. Or, they think that the alternative is like death.

Nobody even considers the fact there's a middle where you can think Trump is a raging idiot but also agree with some of his decisions.

We heard him say these things before in his first term. That's exactly what he needs to do. The neocon pivot we've seen from term 2 has been a disaster.

Iran is a wild card. Your option 2 would not work and not feasible. The wild card is replacing the Ayatollah. The Iranian citizens should make their preferred choice.

It wouldn't work in the sense of changing Iran into a western democracy but regime change won't do that either. It would work in terms of being the only outcome that doesn't carry huge political backlash for trump and the republicans. The best Trump can hope for from a military action is a wash, and if it cascades into American soldiers being killed he's fucked. There's no political upside at all.

Yeah tell me about it. I know a woman who became a diehard anti-Trumper and in recent years she has been in and out of at least 3 psych wards, developed serious mental problems like schizo psychosis, and became estranged from her family. She says shit like thinking most cops are fake ICE agents in disguise, thinks like half the businesses out there are fronts for ICE operations, just batshit crazy shit clearly pushed by fringe leftists.

The media has done serious mental damage to people with TDS by now. These people have literally been driven insane with their hate, propaganda addiction, and leftist conspiracy theories.
