For Residential, there are also many parts of the US down 30% as well. The national data doesn't look so bad yet, but that's because a couple ares have suppressed supply for a while so they've held up.

But it hasn't made sense to buy here since about 2019 with rents at the level they are and have been. Rent is still averaging $2000 a month country wide and the average home costs $675,000. The mortgage payment alone on that with 10% down is $3200 at 4% interest, and then you have property taxes, etc. Even with equity and increased value it's a break even over 25 years. And the people who bought in 2022 will lose substantial amounts over time.
