Before i MN I wash my face with reg face wash, then use hibiclens to wash then I spray Hypochlorous acid on my skin. Here is a sterile HA https://owndoc.shop/Creams,%20vitamins,%20serums,%20masks/Hyaluronic%20acid%20and%20NMF%20gliding%20serum%205%20ml/
I use a Dr. Pen M8 and apply hyluronic acid onto my face so it glides better.
Here is my monthly depth specifications:
Under eyes: 0.25-0.5mm
Crow's feet/Temples: 0.5-0.75mm
Forehead: 0.5mm
Upper Cheeks: 0.75-1mm
Lower cheeks/jaw/chin: 1-1.25mm

Also look into the Derminator 2. It's a much better microneedling device than the Dr Pen. https://owndoc.shop/Derminator%20digital%20needling%20device/Derminator%202/
For weekly cosmetic needling it's a lot faster to use derma rollers. Look for good quality like Angel Kiss rollers. You can typically use them 5 or so times with proper sterilization, just keep an eye on the needles to make sure they're not dull. You can use a magnifying glass to do that.
You should not medical MN in summers/when high UV. Stick to cosmetic depth. I also can't stress enough using sunblock at least 50++++ every day. Wear hats as well if you're going to be in the sun to shade your face.
If you're interested in really diving into MN check out Dr. Lance Setterfields book The Concise Guide to Dermal Needling.
