100% ^^This.
If one supports amnesty, then by definition, you support open borders.

The only good thing we got is the border shut down (for now). Other than that, MAGA is over.

I'm going to make a thread about this "effort" on deportations as more of the cases are making their way through the appellate system...
But Trumps "efforts" have been unreal- and he did it the right way this time he pushed the envelope on everything you possibly could to get the litigation started as early as it possibly could to create a framework that is workable.
We are talking over 700 cases - with 162 where policies are at least partially halted
There are over 34,543 detention-related habeas corpus petitions, This exceeds the combined total from the prior three administrations.
And what is going on- Trump is not only winning these critical ones in appeal or scotus- he's winning the game changing critical policy ones with many of the best ones yet to come.
I.e (with many more i'll note in a thread)
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-supreme-court-backs-trump-aggressive-immigration-raids-2025-09-08/
In scotus 36 of 39 matters so far with strong immigration success
A few Appeals examples
https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/us-appeals-court-halts-nationwide-rulings-rejecting-trumps-immigration-detention-2026-04-01/
For this one above - it's the mandatory detention without bond one.
This is one where over 350 judges ruled against Trump- and now Trump has one on appeal in 3 different circuits (8th, 5th, and 9th) this for all practical matters seals it.
This is a prime example where Trump has to work through the legal headwinds first- on multiple layers before functional able to do "mass deportation" everyone is cheering for.
It's no point in having giant detaining raids if you can't even detain them very long or even deport them.
All this stuff has to be worked out, is being worked out, and every single possible aspect of it has been thrown out as soon as it could from the very front to get it going.

4th Quarter GDP revised down to 0.5%
Coming of a +4.4% 3rd quarter GDP...
What he saw in the 4th quarter was private growth.
-When measured from the income side, the economy grew at a 2.6% rate in the 4th...
-Final sales to private domestic purchasers, which excludes government, trade and inventories, grew 1.8% in the 4th...
-Growth in consumer spending was 1.9%
-Real GDI (gross domestic income) is growing at a 2.6% annualized rate and 2.4% total.
All your basically seeing is the Government shutdown result....
As that one PHD dude puts it "There is no developed economy growing in the private productive sector and in real net wages as the United States. Period."

GOP plan eh?
So 198 GOP house peeps have not co-sponsored or endorsed...
-The bill needed to help the lady win her district for at least trying has essentially zero realistic chance of passing in the current Congress...
-It only has 39 total cosponsors (including dems)
-House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and GOP leadership have shown no interest in advancing it...
-It’s a House bill that’s been referred to committee since its reintroduction in July 2025 and has seen no meaningful progress toward a floor vote...
https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/4393
-It doesn't have support in the senate
-when asked about it Trumps admin communicates "White House says Trump will ‘not support amnesty’ when asked about Dignity Act"

And somehow, this is the "GOP" plan

Trump says he wont "support amnesty," so expect bills like this which may not be, *wink wink*, technically amnesty, with so many meaningless provisions that must be first met in order to give permanent residency to anyone who can make it over the border/tourist visa, etc, so long as they arent raping Americans..

I guess you cunts forgot about Reagan's amnesty.
PS, Bush original gave amnesty as well.
Yes, George H.W. Bush (Bush Sr.) granted a form of amnesty that expanded upon the one signed by Ronald Reagan. American Immigration Council +2While Reagan's 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) granted legal status to nearly 3 million people, it left out many spouses and children, creating "split-eligibility" families where only some members were protected. PolitiFact +1Bush's "Family Fairness" Policy (1990):
After Congress failed to act on the family issue, Bush used his executive authority to establish the Family Fairness policy.Scope: This action provided a blanket deferral of deportation and work authorization for ineligible spouses and children of those legalized under Reagan's law.
Impact: It was initially estimated to cover up to 1.5 million people, or roughly 40% of the unauthorized population at the time.
Codification: Later that year, Congress codified this policy into law through the Immigration Act of 1990, which Bush signed to promote family reunification and update legal immigration levels
Why when I copy & paste anything into this site, it turns into one giant paragraph that I have to go back and try and separate, not too mention not being able to bold/highlight anything??
RIKTERS is getting angry.

I’m not even fervently in favor of mass deportation and illegal immigration is not even a main topic on my priority list. But I’m apparently to the right of the 2026 Republican Party on the issue (And even conformist cucks like Pedo Mark.

The leading Republican proponents of the “DIGNIDAD Act,” a broad amnesty for the nation’s 11 to 22 million illegal aliens, have defied President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda — helping Democrats advance a plan to keep roughly 350,000 Haitians in the United States through Temporary Protected Status (TPS).
Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX), who has led the charge against Salazar’s DIGNIDAD Act, equated TPS for Haitians to a “backdoor amnesty.”
