Sorry man. Thats some real hurt right there. Not only do you love them and as a result do everything you can to keep them alive and happy until one day you can't. Not only that but they love you so much that when they pass you really feel it.

Sorry brah it'll be rough for a little while, seeing their bowl, toys, leash etc. It sucks getting a random mailer or text from the vet saying your dog is due for something and they're not with you anymore.

My dog died on xmas day and I had to break the news to my 8yr old when her mom dropped her off, it sucked. I adopted my dog from my mom so she was only my dog for abuot 5 years but I'd been around her since she was a pup. She was just a dog until I went through my divorce and my bitch exwife ran off with my kid and I didn't see her for a couple of months. It was lonely coming home to that house and seeing my kids stuff around wondering if I'd ever see her again. The one that kept me company and got me through that time was my dog.

Besides being well trained, she was just funny to me, and a joy to be around. She was only about 13lbs so she was small enough I'd take her lots of places and she was always with me on a road trip. The dog never messed in the house, and would wake me up licking me in the face telling me she needed to go out. She was virtually silent and never barked or growled, was very tolerant of my kid and dick head cat.

She was more than just a dog she was family and I always treated her like that. No expense was ever spared on her medical costs/treatments even though she was 16yr old. After she died I tig welded up an urn out of aluminum and put her ashes in there and powder coated it. My dad loved the dog enough he had a tombstone made for her with her picture etched in the surface. Here soon we're going to bury the urn and set her head stone on a slab we've poured.

I was pretty tore up over losing her but at one point something just clicked in me that I wasn't going to replace her but I was going to get another dog of the same breed and do it all over again. I got lucky and found a new dog at a breeder that was 1.5 years old so I could avoid the puppy bs. The new dog while no where near as good as my old dog is earning her place in the house and a good friend to hang out with on weekends when my daughter is at her moms. I'd give anything to have my old dog back but I have found a new friend again.

Sorry bro that sucks
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
