I spent a couple weeks in Zanzibar in the dead heat of their summer. Was on the beach, but still was sleeping in a tiki hut without AC and the high temps were above 100 degrees every day. Obviously you get used to it, but after about 10 days I found myself drinking heavily and trying to kinda self medicate in certain ways. It just sucks ass.

Neither you or Mario would survive in the south in the summer. Eat shit phaggot

I'll gladly bump in July and August to run out the actual numbers as well. Try me you stupid fuck.

I don't neg often but you earned this one.... I'm gonna go full R2D2 and neg you all the way until summer. I'll stop if you can post one day in the summer your temps equal Atlanta's... until then, enjoy the endless negs.
Imagine becoming this unhinged over a few degrees difference in summer weather lmao

Enjoy, btw :)

A couple weeks is a nice vacation, but not really long enough to get used to anything.

I lived in Manila for over a year. I wasn't really watching temps; I had other stuff to do. Probably was hotter where you were, though.

I've been to Manilla a couple times, and it's not on the same level as Zanziber was.

The hottest place I've ever been is probably the Caribbean coast of Colombia. 90% humidity with temps above 90 every day. Obviously the fact that you're constantly doing cocaine probably makes things worse, but it's just a constant sweat fest within 10 seconds after walking outside.

Just looked because I was curious and climate data says Manila is actually a little hotter.

Maybe you caught a heat wave in Zanzibar and the rainy season in Manila.

Or maybe it's all made up. Couldn't say for sure.

Yeah, it's not Summer anymore in Zanzibar. Looking at the current temps, it's probably really fucking comfortable there to be honest. When I was there, the high temps were above 40 degrees celsius, which is 104 farenheit.

Op does have a point. If you're lean and in shape, the heat really doesn't bother you, as long as you're properly hydrated. However, the sun in dry climates in the south can be deadly. You don't register how much it takes out of you until it's too late, especially when working in it. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Wrong lol. Go to New Orleans in August and you won't be comparing to the northeast.

Although temperate climates can be miserable too when you get subzero temps in the winter and 90+ and humid in the summer.

False. In dry climates, your sweat evaporates more quickly, so dehydration takes longer to register. It's essentially why they cover their skin in the Middle East.

Yep. I've thought about it more though and I may be from Idaho, and it's not as hot as some places but still gets plenty warm. I spent every summer all through my teens moving sprinkler pipe in the sun and even though its normally pretty dry here, the humidity in a freshly watered spud field is high. We'd do the morning move starting at 6 and work until lunch. Then do farm stuff (maintenance etc.) before we'd do an evening move on a couple fields from 5 to 8. So, I was young, in shape, and spent a lot of time in the sun so it's probably not a surprise the tropical sun didn't bother me much.
