Nah, my mother is devastated. I've said since I was 10 I don't want kids; she and my stepfather flew into town last year to stay with us for a week. She asked my gf the first day if kids were on the horizon and she said absolutely not, then asked her again just before they left - gf told her neither of us want kids.

Broke the news to her two weeks ago gf is on birth control, only coming off once I get a vasectomy, and she finally realised after 31 years that it's not happening.

I wouldn't get the snip normally because, like I said, I deliberately avoided all ancillaries to protect my fertility and let the test nuke my FSH/LH but she doesn't trust that I'm not fertile and there's no way we're not raw dogging so that's the solution. Once I'm snipped and jizz tests prove there's nothing there her IUD comes out and her hormones can finally regulate correctly. She had that implanon thing until a few days ago and it was killing her. Wild, irrational mood swings because of severe hormonal fluctuations, heavy periods that were coming between 7 and 14 days a time (prior to, she was a light bleeder - two days or so duration once every four or five weeks) etc

That's her hope. Implanon was good for a bit but disastrous the last 6 months. Gone with the Kyleena.
