Wish it would have been over 10,000 at least , cause at 3500 it’s like you’re dragging your ass on the ground .
It was a static jump . You hang on to wing and your jump master throws the pilot chute out Gwen you release . Was still a rush regardless.

If you look confident the first time , they get you to do it again , only this time you do a paper throw from your back pocket to simulate a pilot chute deployment.
Then if you do that well they’ll let you do a 15 second free fall and deploy the pilot chute from there .
I believe if I had been there the entire week the skydiving crew was down that I would have done a solo free fall . I have interest at a random.

As for a wing suit we need 200 free falls to jump with another experienced wing suit jumper . Or if you log 300 jumps you can jump alone .

Instead of visiting HD some day , I’m thinking of just buying a wing suit and renting a helicopter

At the time I was 205 , and back then I think the weight limit was 210 , so I just made it . No idea if it’s higher now lol
