Xmas, Easter, etc... I skip 'em all..
I actually like Cinco de Mayo because it's one of those days where you go out with zero expectations and occasionally it turns into the best night of your year. It's way better than New Years Eve, and on par with St Patrick's Day but usually has better weather so it's more enjoyable.

Well NYE and St. Patrick's Day are like the worst 2 holidays so the bar is low. Nice weather is plenty to beat them.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

It's just amateur night at the bars.

I've been living in Mexico for the majority of the time during the last 15 years and have never seen anyone do anything special on 5 de Mayo

I think people from Puebla might care about it though
