Just recieved a 2.7 million dollar PO this morning for a Vertiv Data Center, a bunch of Stainless sanitary tubing and fittings, which this is just phase one of 12 they plan on finishings in the next year. Extra 160K in commission for me.

In the 70's and 80's my step father was a robotics engineer. Robots were taking jobs like crazy. Then the 90's and computers took a lot of jobs. Somehow we keep adapting and I am hoping that the same will apply with AI. I really hope.

AI can't weld, at least not yet. (well it can but not take the place of actual welders). AI and robots can't do a lot of things. As an automotive tech and assist manager of a car dealer service department, it's next to impossible to find decent techs. Trades are almost all like this, where it's so hard to find people. Most lax their standards on a lot of things just because we need people.
