There are many reasons to still be sad even if you believe

You are still leaving this world and you've not yet experienced the other side

You could have all kinds of things you're processing. Even things you buried from a long time ago are surely going to come up, life regrets,.things you wish you could have done but ran out of time, things you wish you fixed ect

And yeah sure there are a lot of people that don't really believe all that much they were just raised in that culture

I don't like it at all but it's reality. One day you're going to die, and you'll be a distant memory to the rest of the world who will also all die. Then there's like 7 billion people who's turn it is to live life that never knew you existed. Life is for the living. Not the dead.

This video does give me some comfort though. LOL of course atheists tried to explain it away asap.

When we die, we return to the great beyond from whence we came. In a way, things do return to 'normal' as each of us have only been on this planet for tiniest blink of an eye if you take the earth's age into account.

There is also this bible passage which I like "Genesis 3:19, "For dust you are and to dust you shall return."

It freaks me the fuck out and I don’t want to die.

I also get hung up on things like developing als or Glioblastoma. 

All this stuff legit keeps me up at night and I hate it.
