Pretty much every genuinely hard fucker I know is actually pretty quiet and friendly. Rarely ever boastful or egotistical etc. Even boxers, all that trash talk stuff is just for the cameras. They all tend to get on really well behind the scenes.

Makes sense. Was lucky in a way as never had to do much - fighting was extremely common here at a certain age. Hence why I can't understand how they're mostly pussies these days here.

Got a new friend group around 8th grade as schools merged that still keeps to this day in a way. The most athletic dudes etc from a part of town that had the highest crime rate in the country at the time. So we mostly went out as a big group..never started anything, but sure finished things.

I was the most laid back one hardly ever having to get into anything, as these other ppl just seemed to enjoy it and finished things in seconds. I found it scary sometimes tbh, but would help if needed. The first clubs we got into had bloody papers in the restroom and you never go there alone. Remember a fight there, a dude got his ear kicked off, and a bouncer jumping into it with a bottle himself lmao. Was chaos.

You've usually got a load of hormones flying around between 12 and 15 or so, and that makes things kick off a lot. Mind it's not that serious, kids aren't usually strong or good enough to cause any real damage. Worst people tend to get is a popped lip, black eye, or a bust nose. Mind, when I was in school I remember a lad getting chinned, landing funny, and breaking his arm. That was pretty fucking wild. The lad who hit him went proper sheet white immediately as well, knew he was in trouble for that one.

Then there's the little fighting period when you're in your late teens/early 20s. Drink's usually involved in that one. But it's just a natural thing, never knew why it was all such a big deal tbh. Happened since the dawn of time. It's fun.

You're right. I only saw the worst part between 17 to 20 or so. Combining hormones with alcohol I guess. Then maybe some roid rages mixed in with unstable ppl. We had ppl starting that stuff at 14 in my school so was common.

True. Not sure stabbings are that much better but been that way for decades ever since got ppl in from the middle east tbh. Remember police coming to a school dance in 91 already where a group of them showed up outside. Police collected their weapons and knives in several plastic bags.


Edit: they were trying to lure one person out at the time to fight, then a group of 20 stood waiting behind bushes with weapons. So much for honor culture.

I've had a couple of knives pulled on me but it was mostly just for show. Proper knife crime was always more of a London/Birmigham/Manchester/Glasgow thing.

The people who imported the various foreign cunts into both of our countries have a lot to answer for though. Hopefully I live to see some of the fuckers swing.

That alphaville (1st vinyl I bought in 84) night was pretty cool, as had made friends with a 38 yr old hockey coach who got a random ticket from his friend - so had a wing man in the club there afterwards.
Nice, yeah we didn't go to the music thingy.

My family takes us to Halmstad/Varberg every time we visit, so like every other year, usually stay at some small cabins on Apelviken, but was at the hotel for a relatives 60th birthday or anniversary something, I forget.

I THINK the concert was going on then? or maybe I'm forgetting, but all sorts of fancy ass cars were parked out front, maybe it was the end of some CannonBall Run event, I forget.

But it was when the days were longest and I took this pic at 2am:
