Big Daddy, when you decided to retire I presume you had to plan to bridge healthcare costs. How did you handle this or did you set up a seperate growth fund over your working years to address this? It seems like the healthcare costs is the last ditch effort of Mr. Nosenstein has to keep people wage slaving. Srs, vry srs.

i just bought regular BCBS medical insurance for a few years. then i bought a catastrophic only plan for a few years. these were high out of pocket plans - like $35K - i can afford it. now i am just going to self-insure it until 65. worst case scenario if i get seriously sick i will jump on Obamacare at the next open enrollment if needed. also i max out my car insurance medical coverage in the event of a car crash ($20K). but my best plan of attack is my health protocol - eat only whole foods, lift 7 days a week, 13-15K steps/day, no smoke, no drugs. and i made sure to get a colonoscopy at age 49. the cheapest medical plan today is like $1,000/month so i will just self-insure for the next few years. in my 56 years i rarely went to the doctor anyway. never been seriously sick, never been in the hospital.

If a man wishes to compete with the big ballers in South Florida, that's up to him and that's perfectly fine too.
Don’t want to live modestly, most do, that’s fine but not what I’m striving for

I agree, although I could do it for much less living overseas constantly.

Cope I could retire with 1 million easily.

People are so bad with money it’s crazy I’d buy a 10-30 acre efficiency farm, have my own well, solar, cheap barndominium home, grow my own food, kill and process my own game, my only expense would be property taxes, fuel, and healthcare.

Its more about how you position yourself than the amount to make. Youre crazy for stretching out your wage slavery for years to stay in a high COL country
The worse part is boomer cucks like OP have probably handed millions of dollars over to the government via taxes and they are happy to do it. In fact a lot of them will probably defend it, you may as well hand the money directly to Epstein himself.
