So some cereal is a decent breakfast, especially if you're going out and doing active shit for like 5 hours afterward. Onbiously Frosted Flakes and Fruit Loops are trash, but my mom knew that at the time.

i'm gonna guess 90% people are eating the trash cereals because that's 95% of what they have in grocery stores. i remember thinking cracklin oat bran or whatever it's called was healthy but that stuff has like 30g of sugar per bowl...basically like eating a bowl of oatmeal cookies.

The few healthier choices (most still full of crazy ingredients) are small boxes for $8-10.

at this point i'd say sugar addiction in here to stay. once you're addicted it's hard to quit given the readily available food choices in the US.

I remember eating a bowl of Coco Pops as 'breakfast'...which is basically sugar and air. Maybe 150 cals even if you add milk.

Only cereal I eat now is weetabix (4% sugar) and protein cereal.

I hate breakfast, but my fav as a kid was the egg in the center of the toast, with cheese grits and bacon. Cereal I usually ate frosted flakes, raisin bran, fruit loops, or golden crisp. Most of the time my mom would make blueberry pancakes or real waffles and I'd never want to eat it bc it was too early to want to eat before school (like 5:30 am).

Yeah cereal is pretty damn trash and I feel like sluggish after eating it. I just feel bad eating it for breakfast or even a snack. Even low sugar cereal like Cornflakes suck. There's really nothing redeeming about it.

Eggs, bacon, and butter is GOAT. Oatmeal to mix is up. Pancakes and Waffles on weekends only.
