If I could live anywhere in the U.S. it would be Coconut Grove followed by Huntington Beach.
It’s amazing that Canadians like myself see Florida as a tropical paradise tourist destination yet it’s just everyday life for some miscers.
Love Florida.

Pelagics, like mahi, like that blue water, so its mostly an east coast game.
I want to go fishing for Mahi's dude, I've heard that they are typically found on the Atlantic coast. Is that true fisher brah?
West coast has better inshore fishing (snook, tarpon, redfish, sea trout, triple tail, mangrove snapper, gag grouper, red grouper, stone crabs, flounder, sheepshead). East coast you better have a boat, west coast you can be poor and still catch trophies.

Some Canadians literally spend their entire lives wage slaving until 65 so they can spend 6 months of the year living in Florida.
Living in Florida is the ultimate life goal for some Canadians lol

I've been told by a few people that the Atlantic shelf is the sweet spot for them in late April through May. I would love to catch a shit ton of then to pack out my deep freezer.
