Luckily my wife isn’t a materialistic bitch. We have two vehicles and they are ours. Either of us can take whichever one we want. We don’t buy new ones unless we need it. I bought her custom leather purses from a leather shop in Texas which last absolutely forever, look better and more unique than stupid designer bags, are a fraction of the price, and none of her friends have anything like it. I have custom bull hide and elephant hide belts from another leather shop in Texas instead of gay designer belts for the same reasons. We’ve only bought real estate when a good opportunity presented itself and it was a deal. We buy clothes/shoes when they are on sale. We have nice stuff, but we are value people, not frivolous and materialistic spenders.

Our goal is to live below our means so we have a ton of money, can do whatever we want, and answer to no one. Not waste a ton of money on stupid shit so we can “look rich” while having to slave away in order to finance some dumb/fake lifestyle. Glad we are on the same page there.

This criteria was probably the minimum at one time along with body count of 2-3 or less, loyal, not overweight, religiously aligned and not too far apart politically (with most men leaning conservative). These were simply common characteristics of everyday women along with the women they were raised by...thus creating a cohesive extended family circle.

But nowadays what's a realistic split? After about 22-23 years old you're probably looking at 70-80% falling into one or more category like raging lefty, overweight, lesbian, slept with many men, not obedient, disloyal, materialistic, doesn't want kids/wants to wait until nearly 40 because of career, mentally unstable/on meds, etc.

Now if collectively 90% of men wouldn't settle for these women -- it would force women to conform to the program. That would never happen though because for every 1 guy that absolutely won't "settle" (not even to get laid), there are 20-30 more that will say/do/think whatever further aligns them with possibly getting female attention.

At some point or gradually along the way (some say feminist movement), women realized THEY were holding the cards to make men submit. And that just created a race to the bottom for both sexes. "Where are the REAL men nowadays" -- tired of playing the game beyond the effort for casual sex.

Sure these "desirable" or traditional women still exist...let's say 20%, but they of course know the power that gives them...rightfully so. Essentially the 80% of men these women don't select have to play the game of compromise...and as you said compromising on stuff like that is risky business with women.
