I went to apply for one generalist, and it required some video interview type thing. Do they all require that? I'm not doing that shit.
I wouldn't mind the extra money, but I don't need it either. Not going to cuck myself making some video groveling.

They all require it unfortunately.
For me it’s worth it. If I can get even just 20 hours a week that’s an extra 8k per month.

Look up mercor … it was started by a bunch of kids who are now billionaires, the company is valued at 10B
Go to the Mercor subreddit and see everyone posting how much money they make. https://www.reddit.com/r/mercor_ai/s/wgvVMUmWUO
There is no catch at all, I’ve been paid every week on Wednesday via stripe.
Both below are just payments for on-boarding not even working on the project yet .. only started working on a project and really ramping up hours like 7 days ago

Would a fake degree work?

You did specify that wasnt your earnings, I just missed it on the initial scroll thru. But post deleted nonetheless

Might try this out. Found one where I fit the need paying in the $80-120 range. Don't love the idea of hourly work because, well, you have to put in the time to get paid. Part of what I like about my job is that I'm efficient at it so I get done what I need to and chill on a salary, but willing to test this out to see how tedious it feels and whether that's worth the hourly pay (if I get accepted)
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

You actually awared me in MikeLowery’s thread a few days ago. I knew AI training existed, but had no clue it was possible to actually earn a respectable side income doing it from home with minimal experience.
Tellus, Appen, Outlier and Mercor are on my list. I haven’t signed up yet but will be doing it this weekend srs.

No thanks I’d rather go power wash some decks or some chit if I’m hungry for money. Don’t support that AI bullshit at all, they are ruining nature with those data centers

People overestimate how much work they actually do in their salaried positions. That's not to say they shouldn't be getting paid what they do, but no one actually works 40 hours a week. Hourly pay where you truly have to work the entire hour is awful and hard to sustain.
I did some tutoring on the side when I was in grad school and made like $60 an hour but the thought of trying to tutor for 40 hours was never realistic even if you do calculate that out to a decent salary. This pretty much sounds similar to that.

This is pretty wild ngl.
At a glance, it looks like if you qualify for work on that site, you are literally training AI to make your profession obsolete. I guess it's a case of get in and make some money while you still can.
