They are not "hot" at all. The story behind the first mixed family in the Americas is pretty cool btw. A spanish sailor survived a shipwreck and was enslaved by the Mayans in the south what is now Tulum mexico, he later befriended the local warlord who owned him, gained freedom and married one of his daughters.
He integrated into the mayan world and refused to go back with the spanish when they went to rescue him year later.
He became a general and fought off the spanish later on using guerilla warfare and died in battle decades later as an old man.
His name was Gonzalo guerrero known as the father of mestizaje.
