For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Remember getting this call but it was one of my childhood best friends. The H destroyed him srs. I had to cut him off completely. It’ll be 10 years since his first OD next year and since then he’s gotten much worse. From what I hear he’s still in and out of rehab, shooting dope and disappearing for weeks like clockwork. He’s been living off his grandmother his entire adult life. Just a pathetic leech.

I don’t think Brad is on heroin but he should reexamine his choices and try to break these destructive behaviors before things get worse. He’s a bright guy with good career prospects.

There's only 36500 days in a century, how could you have seen something a million times? Assuming you're 45, that would mean having seen it 60 times a day every day of your entire life. This math is not adding up.

Coming up on my 20 years of sobriety

Thank you for this OP, reminds me of why I cleaned myself up.

I remember the absolute chaos, depravity and shame cycle I put myself in over and over and over again.

I sincerely hope this is your rock bottom and decide to get out of your own way, life is pretty awesome when you don't shoot yourself in the dick.

Feel free to reach out.

You can recover from a double all nighter in about 10 hours. Maybe another 8 hours the next night and feeling pretty good.

Yeah that's why I came to post, thought OP finally kicked the partying habits. It sucks being bitchless and not having anything to do on weekends but I got to the point where I don't miss it anymore after 2 years.

I doubt OP overdosed as he seems sensible enough to quit while he's ahead but those Sunday Scaries are gonna be brutal.

Not really a rock bottom kind of thing though. He will likely forget about the shitty hangover by the next time someone invites him out for drinks and baggies.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

He isn’t dead.

He is curled up in the corner or in his bed with the curtain drawn and his heart most likely beating hard at 125-135bpm wishing he either dies or a heart attack or stroke so he doesn’t have to face another second of torture in the world as his blood pressure shoots through the room at like 180 over 130.

If he survives this anxiety attack he will be thankful but eventually go back to drinking and hookers.

Give him another anywhere from 3 through to 8-9-10 days and he will be back here giving his hair transplant updates and bragging about his mid tier Toronto chit tier skyline view apartment and doing coke with dA nElK boYz (homo fags)
Oh Wow!

You know its funny you mention this because on BBmisc miscers we're saying addiction is only for weak people and its hard to get addicted and you quit drugs at anytime.

There's plenty to do on the weekends, got to have the mindset to find things to do.

This shit didn't start happening to me until my 30s. Something about the lack of sleep and days worth of liquor and Pepsi in my blood but that's when I finally experienced real anxiety like explained above. That plus the insomnia is fuckin brutal. Night sweats and sleep paralysis/hallucinations when your body does let you sleep. What a shitty ride lol.

Over a year now and I don't drink or do anything else now besides Mary Jane. That shit don't happen anymore. Been working so far.
