You mentioned you like to set up a telescope and stargaze. I think you'd be good at photography...something tells me you have a good eye. Shooting is so relaxing. I mainly shoot black and white and sometimes portrait as needed...but I mainly go out and shoot alone. I also edit, retouch for others and frame and mat some of my work.
You might enjoy it if you're looking to try something different.
Edit: Just noticed these photos...nice!

A lot of nature and animal pics, local sporting events and stuff.
Im not artistic or anything. I just take a million pics and play with the settings and get lucky pretty often.

alright, I will start off with some of the gear I am packing, should get your saliva going..... (strong no homo with all of that)
First one is a smaller newtonian reflector telescope, the laser sight is somewhat helpful but mostly a flex. chicks dig it lol
second is the most sophisticated piece of science equipment I have ever owned and it cost more than most miscers cars. An amazing piece of equipment, 10 inch diameter cassegrain
Third is my very first telescope and will always have a spot in my heart. a whooping 12 inch diameter dobsonian. You can see the cassegrain without its stand here
