Then my best party friend at the time was from minnesota so he brought it there and had ppl starting doing it lol.

Funniest thing was a buddy doing it when too drunk, spilling sambuca all over over himself and basically set himself on fire.
dasit, lol

Boomer fatigue. I hate to be one of those boomer haters, but it's a huge factor when dealing with them. You ask a greatest generation about WW2 or a silent generation about Korea "I just served" but ask a boomer about Vietnam, every one of them went to "nam and was some kind of elite combat vet with wild stories.

I remember a while ago, we had some new foreman and this dude was so full of it. One thing he talked about was being in the army and how he led a group of delta force and navy seals and they fought this group of insurgents and they ran out of ammo so they used their kbar knives and took out all of the insurgents themselves. Yep, he said we was a SGT in the ARMY, an E6, put in charge of delta and NAYY SEALS. I looked him up and turned out he worked logistics so he stayed on base and would load the planes and trucks and other things. I brought this up with management and they didn't seem to think it was a big deal. I tried to get one of those stolen valor hunters out there but they are so tied up roasting phaggots like him. I ended up quitting that job.

EDIT: there was this one dude named Rowdy we called him. He served as a corpsman and he had funny stories about Nam. He said that more than half of what they did was treating Marines/Soldiers who had gotten the clap from sticking it in Vietnamese whores all of the time. Most of the rest was guys getting hurt doing stupid chit and getting drunk and hung over. Sometimes doing weird drugs they had over there. He said only had to treat about a dozen actual combat injuries.
