around here about 20+ years ago hibachi stuff was pretty special/expensive...like $20 at the time and you ate inside for them to make it in front of you. then the sorta fast food hibachi places started opening for much cheaper...now like $10 with drive thrus

My son loves it- favorite restaurant but we go like normal. Not for special occasions.

I like Hibatchi food but I don't like the performance or group eating experience. Unless you get a private table/chef for you and your friends of course.

Probably because its an all you can eat hot pot. (Most are). Any time you have an 'all you can eat' restaurants you can expect loads of poors and fatties.


We have a local hot pot place but its almost exclusively Asians that go. Its fairly expensive.
