According to my app, I charge at home 97% of the time. I have my charges scheduled from 10pm -6am. My typical charge to 80% I would guess 4-5 hours but I’m sleeping anyways. That’s on a level 2 Tesla charger.
On a supercharger from 15%-80% prob 35 mins, after that it slows down quite a bit so prob 45-50 mins to get to 100% depending on how much juice the SC can push. The newer ones are much faster.
My last supercharge I had to piss and buy some water. Charge took 9 minutes and added 22kw prob 60-70 miles of range.
There are superchargers everywhere, most hotels now offer EV charger, some even free. I have a portable charger so worst case can I can plug into a regular 110v outlet, it will be slow as hell but will charge.
Why EV over hybrid. I got tired of wasting time at dealers, doing oil changes, transmission flushes, differentials etc, literally in the I drive 30-35k miles a year so those intervals for me come really quickly.

do you have to go far off the highway to find chargers like that? I'm guessing there are some close to the highway and you just plan to stop at those particular ones. guessing its not as convenient as gas station, but sounds like its getting better.
