Congrats on making it to 50 brah. You're half way there.

I feel slightly disappointed though. I'm in my early 20s and feel I follow all of these rules as per my nature. No wisdom was gained today.

I completely disagree with the alcohol part. When me and the boys get yucky, we always end up having a great time with hilarious stories. I'd rather have those memories tha than a materialistic item.

You know, I'm 38 now, people that know me will say I've packed more into those 38 years than most people do in a life time, Ive been blown up, set on fire, taken hostage, beaten by school teachers, thrown under a bus, to name but a few things, I used to drive myself crazy trying to right wrongs and make people think or see sense but you know what? It'll never make you happy.
In the end life will kill you no matter how you go out, nowadays if I'm pissed off by something or someone, (provided its not too serious) I just remove that element or move myself from it, it's so much better for your health, your training, your sleep patterns.

Unless all you end up with is a Chevy Astro cargo van with 210,000 miles on it.
Then that alchy doesn't look so tasty. But that's just me.

Wow married at 25 that would have been a year ago. Nice to see that there are people who still make it together. Seems like I have grown hard from failed chance at love. Sex and money is all I have feels for anymore. Lol I will use you for inspiration.

I'm not going to kid you, love is not easy, and I had my heart broken a few times. Don't let that turn you into a narcissist pig. Stay guarded, but remain open. (Great now I sound like a fortune cookie).

Love (and muscle) takes time, and effort.

Repped Dennur, great post. As a 47-yr old myself, I can attest to the validity of your list.

-Figure out early what is important; you cannot do this early enough
-Dont spend so much money on liquor. I could have bought a brand new SUV by now

You know why they act like that? Because they don't know who they are. They crave the attention to give them validity in themselves. Stay away from a woman that has to have someone else verify her worth for her. Or care about her enough to help her make the changes to see in herself that she is valuable.
