I always thought gorillas were docile towards humans? i mean you always see videos of those people doing gorilla walks in the jungle and getting up real close to them, they never hurt humans.

That one looked like he was just looking after the kid? i'm confused at why you'd need to kill it

I hate apes because they freak me out but that gorilla wasn't doing anything. They couldn't just send the zookeeper to get the kid?

Blame the media. Because of them, a lot of people are brainwashed into thinking how "deadly" animals are even at zoos when animas are trained to behave by zookeepers.

Fuken mongs I swear. Lets us be real tea. Everyone who has had kids, knows how easy it is for them to disappear off. BUT JUST ILMFAO at letting it happen in a fuking zoo.

Also, why the fuk do these retards start shouting at the kid and gorilla? The Gorilla isn't fuking retarded, it's a little boy, he's probably not going to do chit provided he doesn't feel threatened. If you're shouting, there is a good bet he will feel threatened.
If I fell in there though, he'd pick up my test, and then rip me to pieces.

Then again, if I was the boys parents, i'd unload a whole clip into the gorillas azz to protect meh kiddy.

Pretty sure it's the chimps that are kunts and very random and you have to watch out for chimps. I always thought gorillas were chill just sitting and eating all day, wrestling with their mates and then make sweet love to their girlfriend at the end of the day. Don't think i've ever heard of a gorilla killing someone randomly

Reminded me of this, millions of animals get slaughtered everyday and no one bats an eye, but if the animal is beautiful or has a name people lose their chit.
It's all phucked up don't get me wrong, but I just lol at the hypocrisy of it.

unpredictable situation, zero risk should be taken, shoot the gorilla. do you think the zoo wants to kill its own animal and lose money? just lol. i hope i don't have to fight beside you in ww3: 'take the shot bro he's too close to the school now with that bomb' 'oh but maybe we should try talking to him first, we might convince him there's not really 72 virgins waiti.... BOOM. You just killed 40 children. Congrats.

I hope the parent/s get charged for child endangerment and get fined by the zoo big time. Their fault their kid fell into the enclosure that led to the death of a gorilla and zoo property.

Nah OP would have been shouting 'absolutely haram' or 'fist yourself' or doing his best Charlton Heston planet of the apes laugh impression.

Then he would have came home and bragged about how his kid got killed by a gorilla, and how alpha he was searching for reps., followed by random ironic posting about how miscer said are losers.

Yea you're so right. Killing a critically endangered silverback and slaughtering a cow breed specifically for food is completely the same thing... Retard.

If this was my call I would of had the Gorilla tranquilized, if it killed the child before it could take effect, so be it.

Order of blame IMO goes

Mother - Not looking after her 3 year old child, should have to pay back every cent it cost to care for that Gorilla and have her child taken away.

Zoo - What kind of idiots build an enclosure a 3 year old can get into, Zoo management should be sacked and they should loose their license to hold dangerous animals until the whole place gets renovated with adequate saftey standards, and with a better standard of living for the animals.

Obama - There should be regulated safety standards for this kind of thing, Obama should be fed to the Gorillas family as payment for their loss.

Yeah mate chimps are dodgy as fuk, gorillas just seem like big chill alphas, at worst it looked like he was gonna give the kid a mother of all wedgies..

Dumb bitch mother needs a slap and a massive fine, how much is a gorilla worth to a zoo? Tens if not hundreds of thousands I bet.

That's really unfortunate and an extreme action to take because if the gorilla was going to be aggressive, it already would have done so before the film could have focused. Especially since it wasn't a wild gorilla that sees humans on a regular basis. And tranquilizers exist. I'd be more worried about a chimpanzee than a gorilla because those SOBs can go nuts if they get a semi and you look at them wrong.

Definitely some sh*t parenting going on there because those zoo enclosures aredeepand some are even closed up along the top. How in the hell do you let your kid even get a foot down, let alone all the way to the bottom? How bad at parenting do you have to be to not teach your kids to not climb in with the animals? Or was this really a trip after the Jungle Book and the parents neglected to discuss CGI or

Honestly the thread title + OP confused the hell out of me (it's still early). Also thought it was rude to call him "it" until the subject finally clicked.

For people that don't know the story
In a similar incident in 1986 on the island of Jersey, a Crown dependency of the UK, a five-year-old boy fell into a gorilla enclosure.
He lost consciousness and a silverback gorilla called Jambo famously stood guard over him, protecting him from other gorillas and stroking his back. When the boy came round he started to cry and the gorillas retreated, allowing keepers to rescue the child, Levan Merritt.
A life-sized statue of Jambo fetched 18,000 ($26,000) at auction and he even appeared on Jersey stamps.

Now that americans are tired of shooting up schools and their own people, they turn to gorillas. I can just picture a 350lbs redneck behind that camera.

Sickening to think that this kind-hearted gorilla of literal peace would have been blasted in the face by cops if it happened in America
