What's the hardest sport to play? Soccer or Baseball or hockey?

-solid, firm, and resistant to pressure; not easily broken, bent, or pierced.
-requiring a great deal of endurance or effort.
-with a great deal of effort.
Those who have not played golf think you simply swing the club hard. But there is a lot more to it. The grip you have on the club, if your wrist twists as you swing through, arm/shoulder movement, leg/hip movement as you progress through the swing and followthrough. If it's windy, where the hole is. Strategy of where you want to place the ball. Putting, the slope/grooves on the green.
There is definitely a lot of skill and concentration needed to be a great player.
You can breakdown the baseball swing just like the golf swing. You don't just swing the bat hard. You have to focus on your grip, leg/hip movement, arm and shoulder placement. You have to pay attention to placement of defensive players, your teammates on base. Where you want the ball to go, base hit or you going for homerun, bunt? The ball is not sitting still either, it's being thrown at you up to and over 100MPH.
Same with hitting the puck with a stick. Accept in to include all the other details of baseball/golf, you are moving on ice, with blades attached to your feet and other people trying to hit you/steal the puck from you.
Soccer is exactly like hockey except no ice/no skates, debatable on physical contact.

Hitting a 95 MPH fastball followed by a 71 MPH curveball is the hardest skill in all of sports. Don't @ me.

it's frustrating and requires patience but it's pretty simple and straightforward when you're actually playing it

You hear the phrase "the hardest single thing in sports is hitting a baseball" for a reason. Have played lacrosse, little bit of hockey, golf, etc. Nothing is harder than the tactical "dance" between a pitcher and a batter. Studying pitch counts, heat/off-speed pitches, breaking ball movement, etc.
If you ever have the chance in your life to take a few pitches from a decent baseball pitcher, do it. It will humble you.

probably soccer. Hand-eye coordination < Hand-foot coordination
but i suppose adding a 5 ft stick in the matter makes its a bit tougher but not enough to be the toughest

I don't think there is any one answer, but one more thing to add about golf...you can play a pickup game of soccer and enjoy kicking the ball around, same with basketball, tennis, hockey if you can skate, baseball, etc...you can't just walk out on a golf course and hit a golf ball...I live on a golf course and take people out all the time that are friends and don't play...walk out with some clubs and beers and LMAO at them swinging and missing. Its not something you can really do casually and have remotely any skill with it. Then you learn to at least make decent contact with the ball half the time...then you have to actually attempt to play a hole and its a completely different story again. obviously I am biased as I am a fanatic, but golf to me has the steepest learning curve. grew up playing soccer, tennis, baseball, golf.

Very vague and low-IQ question. Lots of factors come into play which dictate "difficulty" for each human being.
- Hockey requires you to learn how to skate, on top of stick-handling.
- Soccer requires lots of expenditure (non-stop running) and foot work.
- Baseball is a joke, but I presume batters need decent hand-eye coordination.
If you have a low Vo2 max and dislike coordinating a ball with your feet, soccer will be the most difficult.
If you dislike using a stick to control a puck and learning the fundamentals of skating, hockey will be most difficult.
I've also noticed that both hockey and soccer have their fair share of unathletic-looking professionals (chubby bellies, low muscle mass) you will never see this in sports like gymnastics and sprinting, so I think it might be time to reassess which sports are the truly athletic (vs) somewhat athletic.

U *******s do realize that every sport at the highest level is essentially equally hard in terms of fundamentals and analysis. The only real difference is that some sports don't require u to be jacked but others do. IMO a sport like Football is infinitely harder than say golf or baseball where you only have to focus on a skill whereas in football you have to become the best at the skill as well as be the most physically fit you can possibly be.

Someone who has never been ice skating, ice skating?
Fuk - even take shooting into this. My dad was in the military. He hadn't gone shooting in a good 15+ years. I took him to the range, had the target at 10 yards. He laughed and asked why it was so close. First shot didn't even hit the target, let alone the target stand nor the 6 inches of white space on either side.
My friends who don't shoot. Same experience. Can't fukkin hit a target, the size of an average human body 10 yards away. I was the same. But after thousands of rounds I am a decent shot.
People think you just point and shoot. There is a lot more to it. Trigger placement on your finger can push your shot all out of wack. Recoil anticipation, mostly makes you shoot lower cause you lean forward/push the gun down. Lining up your sights and focusing on them rather than the target. If you focus on the target, you may not notice your sights get outta alignment, throwing your shot off. How you're holding the gun. If you are shrugging your shoulders instead of being relaxed yet firm, bringing your head down instead up raising the gun up into your sights. The list goes on.

Played:
Hockey
soccer
football
baseball
basketball
basketball sucked because I was short white guy.
Soccer was fun but I didn't like playing it as much as hockey
Baseball was fun but boring as hell most of the time
football was great but I was a kicker and played a little WR again being short my potential was limited
Hockey was the hardest and still the most fun to play. The skill to play, handle a puck with your head up so you don't get killed, shooting, going from forward skating to backwards on a fly, the hits were so hard but so much fun. Hockey has beat my body, I've had 7 surgeries in my life and 5 of them were from hockey, both knees, both legs and fused neck. I've had a few broken bones (fingers, foot and wrist) and cut open a few times.
Would do it all over again if I could.

'Soccer' the worlds most popular sports, even Brazilian kids in favelas are honing their skills in as we speak.
All you need is an object to kick and flat land. As so many people play the sport, you have to be exceptional good to stand out.

heeeeeeeeell no I don't shoot guns with people who don't shoot. In my opinion golf is the hardest sport (or game if you prefer) to acquire enough skill to reasonably enjoy it from the various sports I have played in my life. I don't begrudge anyone else's opinion either though.

Football (soccer)
More endurance than hockey and baseball put together
Gotta know how to use feet, chest, and head to control ball
But its not just foot skill, its very tactic heavy and requires intelligence. Growing up i noticed the retards were into physical sports like american football and nerds were into soccer
But yeah you can make it in basketball if you are tall as phuck

Idc what anybody says. Go to a batting cage and hit a 95 MPH fastball. But the OP is quite vague with his question.
Skillwise - hitting a major league baseball
Athleticism - soccer, basketball or hockey
Strengthwise - football

Hockey, because of skating. Played soccer at a high level, still play, I can compete. Played baseball at a high level, in the pros, you can still make a play on defense. If a guy hangs a curve, you can hit it. Though I've face major league pitching and everything has a tail on it.
Hockey, you would get annihilated. Soccer is too fast, but they can't make as much contact.

Getting into professional basketball is harder than both hockey and soccer. You are competing against millions of explosive, muscular blacks with hands that can crush your head, and 30+ inch leaping ability at the minimum. Soccer is absolutechildsplay in comparison.
LOL @ "juvefan" you clearly have a strong bias. Get out of this thread.

skateboarding. you have to have fine motor movement characteristic of your fingers only with your feet. so much can go wrong with every trick that you try hundreds of time to get a make. and then the make may be sloppy and you have to do another 100 to clean it up

Do you golf? How long are the courses do you play? Do you walk and carry? For a "game" (not a sport) it's amazing how much fatigue affects my play when I'm carrying my bag on long, hilly courses.
