this summer has been fuucking amazing so far. was in a relationship for the last two and now everything is cheaper, plans are more geared towards myself, have like 4 trips to major cities planned, working out whenever I please, just an overall amazing experience. women are literally the last thing on my mind with the summer i've built for myself. you guys put way too much stock into what a woman could do for you and not enough in what you can do for yourselves.

OP, you're not going to change anything complaining about it. Pick your ass up off the couch, pack some food and some beers, and head to the beach. Or some kind of summer festival. If you're from the Midwest there's 10 every weekend. If there's no clubs, head to the beer garden. There's tons to do, and you don't need a gf to do it... and you don't need to be out living it up every night of the week. That will burn you out pretty quick. Plenty of options man... just gotta look around.

What in the fk are you talking about? You dont have ANY plans during the summer?

Go join a sports league or volunteer somewhere. Take a few fun classes at the community college (autoshop, art, etc.) This is not hard man just find some sort of group activity and talk to people until you click with someone.

Cope is strong ITT. Lots of ppl are living "that summer life". Most summers I'm one of those hibernation *******s but let's not act like everyone is like this. Lots of people have a strong, flourishing social life and are doing different things every day. Trying new restaurants, meandering around town, chilling at the park, relaxing on the beach, having picnics and bbqs, going hiking, taking road trips, etc.

It's not a fantasy, it's real life.

And why does "productive" always have to be about doing something that potentially leads to monetary gain whether it's chasing a degree or a new job? What happened to just enjoying life? Rich or poor, there's some things you can still enjoy now.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

The room is still damp from the midday humidity. It's cooled off though and along with the summer breeze floating through the window comes the tinkle of glasses and women's laughter. Theirs is a joy of freedom, of satisfaction, of quiet confidence.

You try to ignore these sounds from so close but still far away. The pallid glow of your new 4K twenty inch monitor offers no respite. You breathe deeply, withdrawing into yourself, your feeble arms rocking yourself back and forth.

"Lets go, *******!" says your Runescape friend ***uyincel69.

"BRB" you respond, as you race over to the window and slam it shut.

"Cmon lets go PKing in the wildly you kunt"

Time to return to the Runescape world with your friends you think. No, tonight is different. You'll find no refuge in the blocky animations of the world you'd spent 2,398 hours in.

"Got to go." You mutter as you cast off your headset. The floor is littered with trash, the pop of a Pringles can startles you when you step on it in the darkness. You flick the lights and suddenly wished you hadn't, the state of your room is shocking. Fleshlights line your nightstand, each one encrusted with jizm. Two unopened protein tubs sit on your dresser, no doubt long past their expiration date. The neon green polo shirt and top siders you bought in a manic state lie unused in your closet.

"**** it" you think to yourself as you hurriedly put on a pair of dirty jeans, a baggy tshirt to hide your scrawny frame, and your new pair of Curry 2 Lows in all white. A liberal application of Axe body spray makes you cough. The reflection in the mirror is discouraging, your receding hairline and weak jaw is accentuated by the harsh overhead light.

You muster up whatever courage you have and leave your studio apartment. The cool night air feels good on your skin and the trance in your headphones begins to calm you.

It's a brief walk to the downtown area and the serenity of your stroll is quickly replaced by the familiar fear. Downtown is hopping. With school just out the bars are packed, overflowing with muscle bound frat bros and tan blonde girls unencumbered by the crippling anxiety you experience.

Dance music blares as you arrive at the first bar. You can't help but stare at a trio of attractive people. A tall man in what looks to be a Mossimo tank top and a snap back is imposing. His broad frame and boulder deltoids frame a lean, chiseled body. His sandy blonde hair flows from under his ballcap. He's flanked by two girls no older than nineteen, a blonde and a brunette. Each one perfection, carefree days at the beach making their skin radiate a nut brown glow. Their crop tops reveal toned mid sections, the cut off jean shorts barely cover their pert bottoms and shapely legs all the way down to their pedicured feet in strappy sandals.

"Haha, I benched four hundred and five pounds today, what do you girls think of that?" the six foot three blonde Adonis asked confidently.

"Oh, Chad. I love how you dominate in the gym. The loser guys are always watching you and are afraid to work in, hahaha." Their high pitched voices belied an all too obvious excitement at being by Chad's side.

"I know, just the other day some 140 pound manlet approached me in the gym and asked "w-w-what's y-y-your chest routine, bro?" I laughed in his face and then incline pressed 150 lb Dumbbells and threw them towards his bench, what a loser."

"Oh ****! Was it this little **** right here?"

You hadn't been able to keep yourself from admiring Chad and his groupies and you found yourself staring face to face with the hulking man while the two coeds were wide eyed with expectation.

"You're that dweeb who asked me my routine, aren't you, pussy?"

"N-n-o, it wasn't me. I-I-I don't even l-l-ift." Of course it wasn't you, you hadn't been to the gym in months after a disappointing two weeks in the gym. Your Planet Fitness membership had since been cancelled because of insufficient funds.

"Well you obviously don't lift, you scrawny *******." The girls squealed with delight, hanging on his every word.

"Do me a favor you bitch, don't ever look in my direction again or I'll destroy you. And if you see me in the gym you better leave." His expression had turned angry. He stared what felt like into your soul, unblinking and ready for action.

"And don't look at us either you creep." Said the blonde girl, they too now seemed upset. Incredulous at your intrusion into their lively night.

A pathetic "aw fuk, bye" is all you can manage to say. Your head lowered you shuffle away, angry with yourself for even looking at them in the first place. Your night is over before it even began. The pleasant summer night has turned sour, a weariness comes over you. Even the pulsing trance in our ears brings melancholy.

You pick up the pace to get to the safety of your dark room as soon as possible. You arrive in no time and barge through your door. You can't control your emotions any longer as tears begin to stream down your face. You shut the lights and you know there's only one course of action.

"Better make a thread on the misc."

This summer has been amazing so far. Went to Colorado a few weeks ago, doing Cedar Point, Cali, and maybe Utah in August. Bonfires, canoeing, beach, night walks, hiking, the list goes on. Having a decent amount of friends is a plus during this time but I'm lacking in the GF department. Oh well.

i had one match a few weeks back, I went to open my tinder and she blocked me. I posted and made a thread about it while back. Screenshot the time and within 2 minutes I was done for.
One miscer suggest that I had liked to many girls and tinder flagged my as an Robot.

lol @ the copecels in this thread acting like going clubbing on a saturday night as an adult somehow compares to being young, innocent, free and in love.

There's a reason Romeo & Juliet has been a classic for almost half a millennia. No one wants to hear about your cynical and sordid Tinder "hookups". All the Tinder dates in the world won't make up for missing out on something so important when you were young.

Feel you brah. I'm home for 3 weeks. Just long enough to not accomplish anything. Any "vacationy" things I can do I've already done (lived here for 10 years). Cant work because no one wants someone for three weeks.

It really does suck brah. But soon I will be doing interesting things. Its tough because now, with no obligations, I figured I'd be out boozing, hitting up sloots, and enjoying my time home with the boys. In actuality, I havent even seen my friends, the one girl I did manage to smash left for colorado, and I havent left my house in four days.

I'm an aesthetic chad. Everyone gets bored brah.

Also know these "I live in a **** area" feels. My friends group lives 15-20 mins away in the adjacent town (More wealthy, more central to city), and I just can't justify the trip. 1. I dont want to drink and drive, 2. I dont want to spend money and drive 20 min both ways before I spend a single dollar on the actual night. 3. my parents think going out more than two nights a week is alcoholism (shout out family history) so this has been a culmination of things leading to my rot.

I go to central america in 5 days though! I cant wait

Friday/Saturday evenings at work are the worst for me. I work at a supermarket and you see all the young couples coming in and buying food for their evenings together.

I'm not FA, but ffs I want a damn girlfriend.

iktf bro. Most summers I just end up hibernating unless I'm working. Scrolling through my ******** feed is especially depressing as you get the impression everyone else is out there having a great big fukking 24/7 party.

Best you can do is avoid social media and focus on improving yourself. Learn something new or try out new hobbies. Read the classics. Learn a new language. Just don't LDAR

strong username to thread correlation.

Feelz but for real I'd get the phuck away from that mgtow red pill crap. It's only good until you understand it and implement it but if you get to a point where if you're not out living your life and constantly worrying about hypergamy and what not you completely missed the entire point of why you went there in the first place. Everything is good to a certain extent. Gotta reach a point where you change your mindset, apply what you learn, and never look back
