Was with my brother and his friend one time when I was around 14/15. We took a wrong turn and ended up in the hood (of Detroit) at night.


Brothers friend told him to not stop for anything - red light, stop sign, etc. There were groups of people on most corners, all the buildings were shot up, most had boarded windows, cars were all trash.. It was definitely something I'd never want to do again.

Honestly, it looks like the west side of Dayton, Ohio, where there has been a shooting for 14 straight days ! Considering, after watching this, doing a video of Dayton to show you how much these two cities look exactly alike. Even the downtown.

it's not that easy unfortunately, in that area. unemployment is bad. not enough jobs, even min. wage. would need gov't. assistance to survive. The best they could do is getting out illegally. selling drugs and saving up enough to get out of there and start new somewhere else. when you grow up around that though, thats all you know and the mentality to escape is the farthest thing from there minds. matter of fact, some of them prefer living like that.
