Whenever you tackle the queer you have to make sure to insert a thumb up his angus to establish dominance. Then make him smell it.

The other fun one was "Red Rover" where several people held hands on the playground to make a long chain and called someone to come running towards you at high speed . . . where you tried to either clothesline them or knock them down. Some epic take-outs in that game.

yep, played smear the queer at recess a lot of the time. I was the kid that was too scared to ever pick up the ball so I'd just run along on the outskirts of the pack to feel like I was part of it. no score was kept...and the hilarious part when you think about it was someone would always pick the ball up. there was never a reward to be the queer but someone would always get it and run and get laid out.

The reward was proving you were the baddest mofo on the field. No one was taking me down. I'd have a kid on each leg and another one on top my back and still be hustlin cuz.

This was my favorite joke when I was like 10 years old, everyone I told it to would laugh, including all adult males. I heard it from someone in school, it was a popular joke.

"One day, a young boy finds two flies on top of each other. So he goes back to his Mother and asks her if boy flies exist. And the Mother says Yes. So then he asks her if there are girl flies. His Mother then thinks, "Oh no, he's too young to learn about the birds and the bees." So the Mother replies, "No, son, there are no girl flies." So then the boy goes back to the two flies, and smashes the flies with his hand, and then says "*******s"

Did we call it British Bulldog?

Speaking of dangerous childhood games. We invented a game called Ballistic Missile.

At one friends place he used to have a massive ceiling fan in his bedroom. We would crank the ceiling fan up to high. And this thing used to fukkin GO. We would then all stand in a circle, get one of those bouncy superballs and throw it up into the fan. If it went through the fan without getting hit the next person would throw it up. You would get eliminated when the ball would hit you, which used to hurt like fukk when it got launched at you like a bullet. Amazing we didn't kill anyone or smash windows etc. Especially the one time we played with a golf ball.

Growing up in the 90's was GOAT

loved smear the queer. we used to play that and a basketball/football hybrid in middle school gym where you didn't have to dribble, could tackle ball carrier, but had to shoot 2s and 3s to score. no fouls obviously lol.

I went to catholic school so only had 20 kids in my class and recess. Our version of smear the queer was the same two people that we didn't like were the permanent queers and if we spotted them during recess it was on.

They both left the school after a couple years...

tfw couldn't enjoy these childhood feels because you couldn't even play fukkin cops and robbers at recess

I do remember in my sophomore year of HS, we'd go lift or do plyometric shiit during fourth period on Fridays then go outside and fuk around on the practice field or blacktop / court. me and some boys found a HUGE ass ball, probably 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide. the ball carrier and another person would take turns sprinting into each other and see who'd get laid out. pretty sure we called it eat shiit lmao. eventually the ball popped when some fat fuk ran into it so that was gone. I think a few people got some minor concussions before it popped. Then we found one of those giant monster truck tires and would get inside and roll down some big ass hills.

Use to play it all the time when I was a kid growing up after football practice in the hood. We called it "kill-a-man" but it's the same thing. Always ended when someone got hurt. Played on the field, dirty ass baseball diamond, even in the street. Good ole days looking back on it

Oh man, feels.

The GOAT game though if you had enough kids was MAN HUNT

We would play man hunt every night during the summer for years. It was an event. Everyone from school would ride their bikes up. Always had around 20-30 people. We sectioned off dozens of houses in every direction that had the best back yards. Tons of trees, ditches & other natural barriers. Hopped so many fences you'd thought we were urban youth running from the police. If you were captured, the base you were held captive at was an electrical power box lol. Some of my best memories, srs. Always played to 1-2am. There was always a bevy of cute sloots to mess around with too if you 'hid' together. And as the night grew old, if you managed to last long enough, you'd have to signal to the remaining people on your team also running for their life so you could devise a strategy for winning. ALL the pressure was on you guys to free everyone else. So you'd sneak around the perimeter/outskirts of what was considered in the field of play, until the timing was just right, and you made your move, and became the hero of the night and talk of the town. Zig zagging through streets, other kids cheering you on, just LOL. So funny man. And when it was all over, everyone just sat on the curb hanging out shooting the shiit, dropping skittles in their coke vanillas, laughing, hooting & hollering. One night, we found a huge ass TV outside someone's house waiting to be thrown away, so we wheeled it up to one of my friend's driveway, hooked it up, ordered pizza, and played halo until we saw the sunrise. If you didn't have memories like this as a kid, I seriously feel bad for you.

Yeah we used to play that game and then one day it turns out one of the kids was actually gay and some older dude broke his leg and took a chit on his head so we stopped playing it after that.

Das not it mane. Every neighborhood always had at least 1 gay kid. Looking back, we always made fun of this one guy, Ryan, accusing his sister of putting his outfits together. No fkn idea why or where the thought came from. But that flawless ****-o-meter and intuition as a kid. He really did turn out to be gay. That was back when calling someone a flamer was still an insult, lmao.

Forgot this game existed but we used to play it all the time in elementary school

Did some googling to see if it's still played and found this quote:

"Just asked my nine-year-old if he's heard of STQ and he didn't know it. Then I described it and he said there's no tackling allowed on the playground."

Future generations are screwed
