i'm not asian.

But i actually liked singapore, I think i could live there, seems like a really happening place, very cool, clean etc, food is amazing.

apparently job opportunities are good for people with good degrees aswell

Asian bro here. Was born in Louisiana. I lucked out on the asian genes also. My parents are 5'5 and 4'11 and I am 5'9 almost 5'10. Dating in highschool was tough and I was constantly picked up. When I was younger I was the nerdy asian very thin. Went to college at LSU, ditched the glasses, put on some muscle, and as I got older lost the kid face. In college dated some good looking asian, white, and hispanic girls. It was alot easier with girls when you put yourself out there or girls would come up and talk to you.

Too many people in Asian countries like China Japan and Korea especially, so it's extremely competitive to be successful unless you already come from money. So overpopulation and decreased standard of living that comes with it. Stress from work (lots of men in their 30s are workin 70-80 hour weeks to get by), political situation is chit, and most people are just not happy because of the overly competitive environment.

They come to the west because the standard of living is better, more economic opportunity without the added stress, and they really don't give a fuk what westerners think of them because they tend to stick together in their Asian communities here anyway, or live in areas heavily populated with other Asians.

i've never seen asian people get "racist" on. mostly because a. the stereotype is that they would not stand for it, b. they don't cause trouble and are respectful.

i could see some of the pressures of "making it" as an asian, but that's mostly brought on by other asians. would rather have that than how many of each other they could kill.

but yeah, i don't live my life as an asian guy, so i'm hardly an expert, but most other asian bros responding here agree that it ain't bad.

Korean brah living in TN checking in. It's honestly not that bad but I see where the OP is going. There have been a lot of time as I get older where people kinda look down on you. Not sure if this happens to everyone, but I definitely notice this happens alot at the gym especially as I put on more muscle (try to size me up). Dating white women was hard at school but a little easier at work when I could actually talk to them and have a conversation.

Clear air in Malaysia? They are well known for air pollution/haze problems, along with many other SE Asian countries.
Stable government? Only in a very superficial sense, the prevailing party routinely criminalizes opposition and protests, the divisions are heavily laid out along racial lines. For decades, they had racial quotas in place across all levels of government, education, housing, etc. People aren't stupid, they know where opportunity is and that's why they emigrate away from certain countries.

Greece, Italy, Ireland and other EU economies have been trash this decade - so for the most part, you don't see many Asian immigrants compared to North America. It's mostly Poles, Eastern Europeans, etc.

What do these nations have they Western nations don't?? The living standards in Asia especially in Urban areas are the exact same as the West IMO
As someone who came from Ho Chi Minh City/Vietnam... no, these countries are FAR from Western ones (we're talking about US/CAN/AUS or at least Germany/UK/Switzerland/Scandinavia etc.)

There are some cities out there which are near Western standards: Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul etc. Near, not perfectly matched. The work-life balance is terrible, you need to work almost 8-7 for white color jobs in Singapore, for example. The pay is good, but if you don't have time to spend it, then what for?

Idk about other Asians who were born in the West, but for most of us FOBs (I speak with an American accent and is fairly assimilated to the US culture)... most of us don't want to go back to the motherland. Once or twice a year to visit home and friends maybe... But to live there, nah. From my experience, I have never been discriminated upon except from a few ching chong jokes, dating is harder, but I'm 5'10" with a 7/10 face. White women don't go out of their way to say "woa this guy is cute for an Asian" but you just need to be confident and approach them. My last 3 gfs were 2 whites and 1 latina...

Life as an Asian is not that hard honestly, the only drawback is you need to score stupidly high scores to get into good schools. But then again, most of my Asian FOB friends got their tuition paid by their parents. They only need to study, socialize and play sports while their classmates need to work their asses of because they have huge loans on their shoulders.

This obviously only applies to the chitholes of Asia. I could make the same argument for the chit parts of Europe like Portugal and EE. Mindblown how ignorant the misc (and westerners in general) are of how foreign countries are.

Maybe a third world Asian are afforded a bit more opportunities but beyond that I don't see much reason either. Especially if they're from one of the richer Asian countries (Singapore, parts of China, Korea, HK,Japan) The high class people of Asia make way more than westerners and have a better quality of life.

The anti-affirmative action, strict quotas, stigmatization and overall racism that Asians(especially men) experience in the west isn't worth it tbh. Being Asian in the west is life on retard crazy mode.

Only online have I seen people say that Asians are 2nd class citizens in the West. I was born and raised in the south and I can count on one hand the amount of times I've experienced racism. I've also never struggled in getting white girls and neither have any of my asian friends. I think it's just people looking for an excuse.
