lol...... you realize that a lot of medical students, most residents and a lot of attendings suffer from depression right? do you know what the suicide rate for physicians is? the divorce rate?

you also realize that we go through an insane amount of training in order to be competent for our jobs?

yea man im on the meds now... ive started to notice that I feel more energetic and am starting to become more self aware (which is why I'm finally realizing how ****ed I am)... but at least now im doing something about it (losing weight, trying to gain muscle, trying to change my appearance (hairstyle, clothes, teeth, etc)).

Your goal.... is to do things and only be around positivity because you create your own darkness. I would drop any and everything that does not help you reach your goal for the next few months. Like an alcoholic not drinking, all about positivity, the rest will happen naturally.

I feel so bad for a lot of you young brahs, went back to school and I believe everything in this thread. I see so many young people afraid to talk to anyone, perhaps growing up and not having so much technology made my generation the last of those having to talk to people in order to figure stuff out. You just need to stop being so damn afraid of rejection and take a leap, the worst thing that can happen is she says no, but doing it enough times you'll gain confidence in cold approaching and chicks pick up on that.

We didn't have tech when I grew up. No cell phones, no home PC or internet, and 3 channels on the TV. I spent most of my time outside doing yard chores, hunting with my dad or by myself, and working (I've had a jobs since I was 9). I went to a small school and had 13 kids in my class, most of which treated me like ****. I learned early to avoid people when possible, and at 36 years of age I'm pretty good at it.

Yeah I saw the beginnings of it. I can see how it could get even worse.

Video games, internet, and porn can fulfill all of your happiness, social, and sexual needs. I was doing that for a while too. Then eventually you want to do things in real life and you realize your social competence is that of a 5 year old whereas everyone else is socially mature.

But that's the thing man, you know your problem and what to do to correct it. Just need to jump in with both feet, rejection is a part of life. Whether it's asking a girl out or not getting a raise/promotion, we learn and we keep it pushing. You can break your cycle, YOU are what's holding you back.

That's crazy, i lost my V plates at 13 and now I'm FA, doesn't really bother me but it irratates me mre that our world is superficial enough that not being tall and good looking can really effect you in life eg jobs, women, loans, friends etc

Actually I'm pretty good at asking for raises/promotions, and getting them. It's only women I can't relate to/approach. My career is doing well, and I'm looking at a promotion within ~4 months that should increase my salary around 20%, and add in yearly bonuses.

My chief problem aside from not being able to approach women is a total lack of interest in any common hobbies that most people enjoy. I mostly play PC games (master race, of course), buy/sell stuff on craigslist (I build PC's in my spare time to sell them for extra $$), I watch movies, and I read a lot. I enjoy art work too, but I don't do that as much as I used to.

I hate sports, and pretty much any outdoorsy activities outside of hunting. I do go to a shooting range occasionally, but I go by myself (I have no friends, and my Dad lives up in Michigan so I can't go with him) and that's only like an hour once or twice a month.

My life consists of going to work Mon-Fri, and when I'm not working, I'm at home in front of my PC/TV, or reading. I recognize women aren't going to show up and beat down my door, which is why I was trying Tinder and other dating apps, but those are primarily for good looking people, which I am objectively not.

Could try alcohol or meth it might help you on your journey to getting a girl. If that doesn't work then buy a hooker.

Life can be fun, though there are consequences to drug use. Just be safe if you decide to go that route

Smashed on the reg while i was at school and College, but apart from a few drunken hook ups, I've been completely FA since. Don't get looks at or spoken to by women, when i do approach they just give off the vibe that I'm annoying them or they flat out ignore me so i barely even approach anymore.

One tip i can give you though OP, is to get a good friend. I think having a friend your always out with makes it easier to approach girls in pairs also. Plus it probably gives off the vibe your both outgoing, just make sure he's a good enough friend that he won't try and fuk your potential smashes.
