3 Thanksgiving weekends ago, we lost a very close family friend to a drunk driver. Her husband still has physical disabilities and she left behind 2 great kids. Her youngest daughter didn't have her mother at her high school graduation. Her older daughter graduates college this year. She won't have her mother there to see that either. Both girls won't have their mother at their weddings.
Consider yourself fortunate that this will only costs you $1,000's of dollars in legal fees and auto insurance for at least 7 years.

The older crew that I hang around with, brahs between like 26 and 32, all know people who have a chitload of DUI's. Maybe it's my area, but it's pretty common for us to meet up with a mutual friend with 2-3 DUI's.

Are you a grad student? Pre professional student? Or have a job that'd fire you for a DUI?

why are people saying hes going to have to pay 1000s cause of insurance going up???

if he just got pulled over and didn't damage his car or anyone elses car there is no reason for the insurance to be informed.

I downloaded both Uber and Lyft and have credits on them. I save them incase of an emergency, like drinking and being stuck. Never used them, but it's good to know when I need it, I'll have it.
